Ok but needs improvement
It’s a great idea and a great concept. But searching for an event is very frustrating. There are *always* events on the website that can’t seem to be found in the app. Unless I’m missing something, you can only search for the whole state in the app. So I can search by town on the site, and then know that the tournament I’m looking for has been entered, but then I go back to the app and it doesn’t show up. Garbage compared to its competitors
I would like to say this is my first review in the App Store since 2012. I have used this app (not by choice) over the last 5 years for my sons basketball and baseball tournaments. It is the most irritating thing when you are trying to figure out playing times going back and forth between the standings and bracket to try to figure out the schedule in advance the BAM ad!!!! They need to place their ads better. In fact I wish they would find another way to make money. It’s like those cheap games that have an ad every 30 seconds. Thank god most tournaments use a cloned version of this without the ads!Show lessDropd00
Follow a Team vs Tourney
It would be nice if I could follow/favorite a team - and be able to view their schedule from a single tap. Instead I have to always search for the tourney, then find their age group, then find my team. This is rather obnoxious for each and every weekend.
Log in, favorite the team - click on their tourney and the schedule is always there. Done. Just a simple change to the UI.Show lessDB.22
Decent App, Terrible Experience
My son is playing in a tournament this weekend. This is my first time using “Tourney Machine”. The App seems ok, but the tournament organizers are terrible at updating. A tournament organizing app is only as good as the information uploaded. I’m my case, this was a fail. The tournament is an hour away. My kid lost in the second round of bracket play, took his sweet time gathering his stuff, and is now home. The game 1 scores are not in the app yet. My guess is that the entire tournament has completed and I still have no idea how any bracket scores finalized. Not really the apps fault, but didn’t leave me with a good experience.Show lessDrop the Deuce

Tourney has helped very much
Tourney has helped a lot! From things to like not always being able to be at my child’s game due to my job. But with tourney I do not have to worry about that. I can see whether my child won or lose and that makes me feel much more comfortable with not being able to be there. And I have to thank this app for these particular reasons.Show lessCertifiedC3OS
Very Buggy
This app does not work correctly on my iPhone 11 pro max. It doesn't matter what event I go into, every game on the schedule shows as the same day. We have had our entire schedule on the app for baseball & football, all the games always show as scheduled for the day I'm looking at the app. I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling the app multiple times. I have to go to the website and look at all of my kid's schedules and take screenshots; so basically this app is useless for me.Show lessGaballin23
Initial thoughts
So far I enjoy it. Haven’t gotten enough acquainted yet. Would like to be able to access my teams’ scores, positioning in pool play, as well as definitions terms and icons without having to go back. Maybe it’s just the pool play not accounted for. Maybe it’s my lack of familiarity w/app. Will have further analysis later. Overall pretty cool.Show lessCyber Slider
Improvement
As a coach we look for teams that match up well with us. You already have the data, it would be easy to make each team searchable to see the records or general results of each team. I know it would not be perfect, but It would help coaches decide where to play each weekend. I think it would also balance out as many teams are over matched while others just clobber everyone.Show lessmatthoops25
Poor Functionality
Look- if I told someone “I need you to create an app that downs exactly one thing poorly, lacks basic functionality that you would just assume would be included, and also please make it hard to use, and then to cap off the poor user experience, put in a ton of intrusive ads” and they gave me this- I’d rate it 5 stars.
But I want two things from a scheduling app- I want to be able to find the schedule I’m looking for, and I want to be able to sync it to my calendar. This app mostly fulfills one of those requirements- I left my earlier review from a couple years ago below… search function hasn’t improved.
