Great app. Just make sure it is the version for your specific brand of TV
I’ve been using this app for at least 6 years now. I have the app for each brand of tv I own. Before you purchase or download the free version make sure it is the right version of the app for your brand of TV. I’ve seen reviews stating it doesn’t link to their tv but they honestly probably downloaded the wrong version of the app. Also some steaming sites do not work on here but most do. I watch movies and all kinds of out of market sports games through this app no problem. The free version is cool if you don’t use it often but if you stream a lot the upgraded version is the way to go. I don’t like adds and when trying to watch live sports the adds cause your stream to be delayedShow lessEJax2008

Paid for the pro version a few years ago and it’s basically been taken away from me. They took away a bunch of features that I paid for and made them unavailable unless I pay again. I wouldn’t pay for anything because they might take it away and make you pay again.Music man Franklin

A bit frustrating but finally figured it out. I enjoyed the ability to cast a video onto our large screen TV. We were able to watch my grandson play a high school football game from a video link my daughter sent us. Thanks!Mzolnosk

I have tried many apps to be able to watch many of my online video classes and projects and this one is by far the best!!! I love that I can Cast straight from the web as well as mirroring from my phone or iPad. I love to be able to cast on my TV while I’ve been home sick with the flu the past few days. Get the app!!! no last page open waste of $6
so annoying no history or automatic load last page. no selective bar skip control for video player. Everytime the app resets I have to type in the page and look into the previous episodes I watched. I do this step every time as i have to click into pages all over again.DissJoeee
Perfect Way to Screen
I have been using this app for about an year and Hal now. Can screen anything from the web. Love using the app. Great app thanks. Hard to find these days… lol-Smooth 85-
Unstable connection. Keeps disconnecting!
I paid the this app and was extremely disappointed with my experience. The app is supposed to allow users to easily cast their favorite shows and movies from their iOS device to their Roku device, but I found it to be incredibly difficult to navigate. The user interface is clunky and not user-friendly, which made it frustrating to try to find the content that I wanted to watch.
Additionally, I was unable to cast any of my favorite shows or movies to my Roku device. I tried multiple times, but the app kept giving me error messages and disconnected. It would connect then disconnect 2 minutes later. This was incredibly frustrating and made me regret downloading and paying the app in the first place.
Overall, I would not recommend this app to anyone. It was difficult to use and did not work as advertised. Save yourself the frustration and look for a different app to use for casting to your Roku device.Show less@edwardhalimmm

Thank you for taking time to review our app. We apologize for the inconvenience. The Video & TV Cast app optimizes video for CAST devices to support more formats. At the first CAST attempt, most standard formats are intercepted. If the video is not in one of these formats, it must be processed with the second or third optimization function. Unfortunately, a popup with confirmation of the user is necessary that you already know. However, if the videos always worked at the first attempt, but now no more, this could be due to a format change of the website provider. Please also try the following options to keep the app from disconnecting: (1) Please make sure you have a stable internet connection (both your iOS device and the receiver device). Please also try to move your wifi access point (or router) nearer to your receiver device and your sender device to improve the signal. (2) Please make sure that the energy-saving mode of your phone is not activated (the battery percentage of your iOS device should ideally be above 30%). This can lead to incorrect transmission. (3) Please try to turn off both your iOS device and your Cast device completely (pull the plug) and let it cool down for about 5 minutes. (4) Please try to switch between 2,4 GHz and 5GHz wifi network as due to different conditions the different frequencies could work better or worse. (5) Please try to keep the app open on your iOS device, as some websites and videos require the app to stay opened to guarantee a playback without interruptions. This app is absolutely horrible. Roku wants you to pay for two apps that don’t even work. What’s worse is these two apps propose to function like airplay, which is already installed on your phone and is completely free. This app is functionally useless and is just trying to get your $6. A app the actually does everything
Went through several dozen different apps to stream movies from my phone to my Roku tv without having to have the app open and screen on while streaming but I finally found this one that actually casts movies without lag and in great quality fully in the background. A added bonus I wasn’t expecting is probably the best Roku remote I’ve ever seen on a phone that this app comes with.Show lessblgray932022
