Leave a Review Credit One Bank Mobile
While they do many things right…
It’s the handful of things done poorly that drag down the overall experience with the app. Just a few minutes ago, I saw that I had new payment confirmations so I went to that page. Notifications of new items: good. That page itself: not so good. It has over two years of payment confirmations in random order. At least the new ones are marked new, but if I am looking for a specific date, I have to browse the entire list to find it. And the notification date is usually not the same date as the payment, which means I have to click on multiple items to find what I need. It could all be solved with a date sort. Note to the app team: think about your favorite banking app that seems to read your mind and everything is where you expect to find it.
Then benchmark this app to that experience because there is no chance that this app is anyone’s favorite.
At least they have tightened up the confirmation date to within a day or two of the payment date. When I started using the app a few years back, it would take up to 5 months for the payment confirmation to appear, for example, dated today July 4 and state that my payment of $$$$ on Feb 14 posted on Feb 15.Show lessEasy to Navigate
The Credit One App is very helpful and easy to use to accomplish just about anything related to your credit card account. The only reason I did not give it five stars is because I believe that it should be a standard practice to allow for debit card payments FREE of charge because the interest fees are high already and charging $4.95 to use my debit card is an EXTRA slap in the face and is absolutely counterproductive when they are supposed to be giving me a hand UP by "helping" me boost my credit scores! Capital One does NOT charge a fee to pay with a debit card. I would rather pay the $4.95 toward my credit card balance. I have mental disabilities and to stay on top of my multiple card payments, I prefer to use my debit card to pay my credit accounts because the payment is immediately deducted from my checking account balance and this helps me stay somewhat organized and my bank account's available balance is shown in real time which also helps to prevent overdraft fees or a returned payment.
Overall, the App is convenient, easy to comprehend, and extremely easy to navigate, it's truly worth the download.Show lessFeatures that are benefits needs work.
The experience with this card seems to be pay off every month in full. My experience is 78 points taken off my credit score when I had a balance. I paid way more than minimum balance. Cash advance when paid off 150. Other than that cash advance would be balance 7 , 8, or 60 bucks even thou my available credit available is over 150. Reports to credit bureaus are late or don’t reflect paid in full. At time I’ve paid twice in one month. But with all that all the mistakes on credit bureaus reports they don’t fix which is a report of lies or whatever someone who put info on your report. Example I’ve been retired disability over 20 years and credit bureaus has that I work. So in all credit one credit card is ok long as you pay off every month on time but still my credit score has not gone back up 78 points. Customer service sees the same thing as is on app. I can say the only month I had cash advance correct was the 1 st month I had the card after that only offered once again even though your credit availability is 3x the cash advance. Plus raising your credit limit is in investigation I corrected my income yearly and app automatically puts it monthly I have to check will keep you posted on that matter.Show less
