Amazing Progress
Holy cow, this update came out of no where. Good to see there’s a team back on this. A powerful platform, a much needed revamp. Excited to see where this goes. Keep it up.
Poor user experience
Once again co star fails to listen to its paid customers. And continues to work against the user. Persistent log in issues and then bombarded with pop ups when signed in. I use co star to try and get work done. When pop ups are constantly thrown at you, (among the other issues) delaying you from doing your job. Starting the day off with annoyance and frustration. Then they increase the monthly price without justification.
Please be aware- I am forced to use this HORRIBLE platform through my brokerage.
If you are not forced to subscribe to this platform. DON’T.

Info is not up to date
Costar does not update vacancies with a frequency that is helpful.
Stay away
Read thru the negative reviews. Everything is true. Co star is a joke, they run a bad business and customers suffer because of it.
If you want to deal with daily log in issues, changing your password daily, clearing your cache daily, locked out of mobile but allowed access through desktop or vice versa, out dated data, useless loan information, pay top dollar with unjustified price increases, CO STAR is it!

A great help!
The CoStar app is my favorite resource when in the field. I can swiftly connect with property data and contacts. Those who complain about the app do not remember the days when everything was paper and in person. I can define an area on my ipad and immediately pull up market analytics for the client on site, demonstrating rents & vacancy factors as may be specifically relevant to their property. Clients are always impressed with the rapidity of results!

Power info to take into the field with you if you’re a CRE professional, broker, investor. I save favourites and then do the heavy lifting on my desktop
Missing critical features
CoStar is a great desktop tool, but until they add critical features to their app, like aerial map view, remove polygon for saved searches, show points of interest, etc., it’s not possible to yield the level of productivity we need on the road using the app alone.
Best App for Commercial Data
As a commercial real estate appraiser, this app is the best way for me to analyze properties on the go.
Buggy and Support is Awful
Call support and they will hang up on you, literally 5 times in a row. App constantly crashes, at least 5-6x per day. Not worth the subscription, this app is worthless.
