Give me my promotion you cowards
So as the story goes, I score the opener, tearing my opponent to pieces, It looks like an early win is to be and an easy promotion back to the division I truly belong in, BUT... as I send a beautiful ball across to my striker in front of the open goal, my opponent decided he's had enough, so he quits. At this moment as this game disconnects, I felt like Stewie Griffin, victory was mine, BUT... the game awards my impatient opponent the win. At this time I am somewhat irritated but not bothered as I know I can just win and get promoted, BUT... I look in the corner, I am in fact TWO games behind promotion AND i suddenly go on a run of bad form in which uncontrollable errors happen such as players running the ball out, whiffing clearances and conceding winning goals etc. All this because my opponent quit and somehow won, but as far as I'm concerned quitting automatically grants that who does not quit the big fat dub, SO WHERE IS MY BIG FAT DUB?! I demand a refund for this completely free game, I also demand to know why you think a referee hurting his knee merrits the team that is 1-0 down getting the fat dub you tyrants...

Bad controls
I believe the game is fun and great but seems there’s a problem with the players
1) my players never jump to contest for a corner or crossing, they just stand and watch the opponent jump for the ball. I tried all my players at the defense and it keeps happening that’s frustrating I believe
2) I saw a comment that suggested that instead of selecting a marker there should be a button to mark, pass, run/dribble and shoot instead of letting the ai do everything. I believe that’s a good idea
3) another problem I do get is seems the rebound is designed to make the opponent get the ball, why will you have to select a specific player to cover for a rebound. I believe that’s not right.
4) well and I have a few suggestions and here’s one, why not make it possible to add people you play against as friends. Sometimes I play with interesting people and wish I could add them as friends well they can’t type out their Facebook 😂 so they’re gone
5) you can also make a type of match in which you play a full match and not just playing for two goals. The match can be a special type or different aspect of the game but just make it possible we play a full match.

Fun Game, Bad Tournaments
I like the game, but the Tournament system doesn’t work well. If you’re above level 6, you can only play in the top tier tournament. And those tourneys are filled with people on level 9 or 10. So it’s very difficult to win at all if you’re not in the top 2 tiers. I rarely play in the tournaments anymore because it’s a waste of gems. Also, level 10 people regularly lose on purpose to get to level 6 so they can appear in both tournaments. So if you’re a level 4 person, you might have a match against a “level 6” person with level 10 players. This isn’t fair.
My solutions would be to have more tournament levels, like there used to be, and to punish people who are obviously losing to move down levels. For instance, if you go from level 10 to level 8, all your players lose a level too. Same for 9-7, 8-6 and so on. That way, someone trying to go from level 10 to 6 would have all their players lose at least 3 levels.Show lessCapin_Crunchies
Fix the tournament setup
The game is super addictive and I love to play it. I stopped playing last year ,when you had to use the in game cash to play in different arenas, but I started playing again where you didn’t have to pay for each game and grind out cash.
The only major problem in the game is the matchmaking in tournaments. I’m currently in arena 8 and would consider myself pretty decent at the game, but whenever I play in one of the knockout tournaments I seem to play people who either hacked the game and has over a billion dollars won and maxed rated players or people with probably twice as many stars that I have. I get manhandled in these games and can’t seem to hold my own, with their players all rated 10 while mine are all 5 or 6. I just want my grinding for enough balls to play in these tournaments to be at least somewhat worth it.
I would suggest make tournaments cheaper and maybe have the amount of divisions in each tournament smaller
Something like:
Divisions 1-3
Divisions 3-5
Divisions 5-7
Divisions 7-9
Divisions 10 - 10+

Developers getting greedy
So this is written on Nov 3rd 2019. One of the recent updates is the change by having multiple attempts to win those weekend challenge cups. Each attempt is at least 100 gems (and sometimes 200 or more gems). Ever since that update, never have I ever won on the first two attempts. I had more than 4000 gems and now less than 50. The bots, irrespective of the level, always find ways to defeat you.
Try observing this when you’re playing against an equal leveled or one-level-below opponent, especially in these challenges and tournaments. When you manage to score the first goal, there is literally no way your defense will manage to stop the opponent scoring the equalizer. They always find ways to have 3+ strikers in front of the goal after I score my first goal. Believe me I tried with so many combinations and trying different players in different positions. AND my team happens to do comparatively well in the Arena. It’s these challenges and cups where they opportunity to mint money.
You get frustrated and keep re-attempting and eventually use up all your gems. Finally, you’re tempted to buy gems. Never do that. They have their share of advertisements and this update shows their greediness.Show lessMaheshBalajiR
Obvious Algorithm
This game is a great game and very addicting but there’s definitely some things that need to be worked on. For one, the physics of the game is a bit off and need to be adjusted. For two, there’s an obvious algorithm to decide who wins the game. The most ridiculous things happen when you’re playing that either allow you to win or the other player to win. This happens multiple times in a row, if I could post videos as proof, I would. There’s been ridiculous things that have caused me to win and ridiculous things that have caused me to lose. If you could take this away and make the game fair for everybody, it’d be one of the best games out on the App Store right now.
UPDATE: I’ve now been losing 12/13 games in a row since this review. Ive delegated two leagues and am still losing to people I should be blowing out of the water. Lol this is the most corrupt game I’ve ever played. Obviously paid for the reviews as wellShow lessgkehayes
Game mechanics aren’t consistent.
Prepare to be defeated by the game’s mechanics.
I’ve learned that you need to pick your target by pressing on the player when two players are near each other... otherwise they let the ball go to the defender almost always...
1. Cross passes are a broken mechanic in-game. You can get the ball all the way across the goal and it will be a goal 95% of the time. The farther the cross the less the defense seems to respond.
2. When playing a lower ranked player or someone with players of a lower level, your players are nerfed and do stupid things constantly.
3. Passing is ridiculous, it seems players don’t have a desire to go after the ball and will stick to their field positioning more than anything. Such as; if your player has the lead on the ball but is out of position and you pass it towards the players *indicated* direction, they almost always back off and lose the ball.
4. Player *indicated* direction is a lie, they don’t always run the way they’re heading, especially if you try to get them to pursue the ball behind a defender.
5. I enjoy the missed tackles that was patched into the game, but when the ball comes loose, all of the aforementioned mechanics come in to play. I’ve lost games because my players simply don’t respond to the ball, even when they are closest to it.
All-in-all, this is a really fun way to kill some time; but prepare to get frustrated and question the reason you played in the first place.Show lessSithJester1
What a disappointment
So I loved this app so very much. I would play it in the morning before starting my day. It was entertaining and fun. I know it is rigged to an extent just because you can’t have level 5 speedsters catching up with my level 9 speedster. Just shouldn’t happen. You can tell in a game when you know the ai is going to be doing a dang good job. When you get a streak going you know it will end at anytime cause they will not let you keep it for very long. Besides it being rigged I did enjoy it and then the fateful day July 24th 2019. I should of never downloaded the update. Why would you limit where I play a match at. I can’t play exhibition matches now and this is just a terrible move for score match. I refuse to buy any gems now and I refuse to play this game as much as before. You should have the option to play where ever you want. If I had 3 wishes from a magic genie one of the wishes would be to go back in time and never download this terrible update. I even wrote and asked why and how do I go back and they responded with an oh well too bad so sad email. Terrible move for such a great game. Worse since update
I have been playing this since before they made the change where you have to stay within one arena level. Since that change, I am now stuck in a constant rotation of promotion to level 8, maybe win 1 or 2 in the next level, and then relegation back to 7. Rinse. Repeat. Upgrades to players are very slow to come by. Getting from level 7 to 8 initially was somewhat quick which didn’t allow me to build any players up to 8. But, the way their algorithm is set up, it has become not a fun game anymore. As others have said, I am not fairly matched with teams within the same level where I have only level 7 players playing against teams with 8’s and 9’s. Their desire to focus on their bottom line by making it so I would need to spend money to maybe get the upgraded players that I need has led to them to reprogramming the fun out of the game. Wish this was a better review
I started playing this game and really progressed quickly. I started out really fun but as I got better, it seemed the AI got worse. What would be normal passes can be a struggle to consistently get the ball to your teammate. Also, if two players are running after a ball, a soon as someone gets it, the other person is right on the person with the ball trying to get it, but instead they back away 10 yards for whatever reason. Also the fact that you can not choose exactly when and where to pass takes away from the game. I’ve had times where I am clearing the ball and I have wide open players, but I wait to be slide tackled and not even get the chance to pass, or I am forced to pass somewhere where it is impossible for my teammates to get the ball. This game could be amazing if there were improvements with the AI, but for now we just have to wait.Show lessKsp lover
