I was a original user and either the app was free or I did pay a one time fee for the app. Been so long ago that I can’t remember but the Apple Store does because am able to write a review. I believe I had to stop because of the new charges. I believe that I should be grandfathered into at least the basic or any add on that I had. I don’t believe in these apps that you purchased or was free to start this charging to people who was there from the beginning.
But I just went ahead and try downloading this app again. There was a free trial so I uploaded one picture. But after I was done and realized again that my past usage wasn’t going to count. I decided to not use the app but wanted to delete the picture. The problem was I was unable to delete the picture and that option was in red so I think it was unavailable. Hopefully they do not keep the picture in their database under the trial usage. So beware if you take this app for a test spin.Show lessseewhat23
Worst App and support who only cares about making more money of of you
I have paid a lot of money for this app in order to unlock all the app features and have been using it, but what this app does beside the face they have the same edit and design as lot of other app. They add new features which sometime is the only reason you paid lots of money for it, but they want to find way to still charge you more so they remove the best features and change them with an Ai Avatar generator which is the same on all app are adding them now and now they want you to pay again for every time you want to use this and not just that they have removed the text to image that was there before as a part of the app. Another trick they do if not now eventually like they did before is change the name of the app so now you very expensive app you bought have no more support and updates and if you want you have to pay again like they did with Facetune and then Facetune 2, and soon to be a 3.
Don’t bother downloading and using you can get the same edits and avatar today on all the other app that some also still Ofer text to speech.

THE AI IS ???? HUH?!?!
The AI update to this app is the best i've seen so far on any app it certainly doesn't rival mid journey, but rather than random AI generated rubbish it intact delivers fantastic results, a bit of tweaking and it will be perfect. The only reason it's a 4 star rating is because the quality of the image generated could be vastly improved, even the slightest zoom in leaves the image fuzzy and overall not very usable for use, image sizes would be handily too be it for prints or desktop wallpapers. Overall a 5 star app, very good job!
UPDATE: Why has the ai generator for images gone?
Avatars are great but the image generation did not need to be removed.
The problem these days is that even though you're the ones giving us these tools, there are no explanations as to why. It wouldn't hurt to just explain why changes are made.Show lessDeltalphaxray
Terrible service, deceptive, unresponsive
I downloaded the app, and I didn’t find any of the features very useful. I then tried to cancel and it didn’t show me where I could cancel… before I knew it, they had charged my credit card without my permission. I contacted their customer team twice to resolve and I have not had a response.

Scam!!
Subscribed to upgrade my basic but it was not downloaded on my phone i still have the basic! Went to my subscription list to cancel it was not there then all of the sudden i have invoice of $87 and then money already deducted, apple said fraud!kininam ka facetune

Every few days Lightricks ltd keeps trying to take £50 from my bank account. I cancelled my free subscription way before the paid subscription was due to start. I have emailed them numerous times with proof of free cancellation and screen shots showing the attempted deductions from my bank account but I have only had one reply asking to cancel my renewal which I already did! They should take my bank detail off their system! They haven’t replied to my other email to help me fix this issue. Now I have to go through my bank and report fraud. This company may have a good app or two but be careful. Bad customer service and trying to make my money when it’s not yours to take.Show lessLauren Louise7
Greedy Developers Have Ruined App
The original Facetune app was amazing, and still is. I use it quite often to remove marks on images, enhance photos, and attempt to hide every pore I was unfortunately born with. However, Facetune 2 is just a money hungry power grab, with the Developers hoping that people will be stupid enough to pay for each month, hiding almost all of the good tools behind a paywall.
Your comments on reviews keep stating that Facetune 2 is free, and whilst it’s true to download the app, the caveat is that you can’t use most things without paying for it. Plus, you don’t even allow a lifetime, once off payment amount, and instead want people to rent the app off you instead. This is shady, greedy, and spits in the face of those who supported the original Facetune.
Now you flood the original Facetune app with ads for Facetune 2, trying to force users to download and start renting your cash grab from you. Shame on you.Show lessNick_Jones85

I’ve been using Facetune for a long time now. About 5 years now. I’ve seen it developed and I’ve been through the updates and so far it’s been going well. I’ve heard great reviews about the app from other people, from influencers, etc. and I think that it deserves its recognition. But I don’t think it’s fair especially with this recent update that now it’s charging us to use certain features that were once free. It was a very affordable app but now that’s it’s charging, I don’t see it’s use anymore. I don’t find it fair especially for someone who has had this app for a long time and still uses it until this day to now have features that require purchase for yearly, monthly, one time purchase. I’m really disappointed in this new update and I hope that I can go back to the way it was so that people who can actually afford it can keep the app. Please take this review into consideration. You have to pay
Cool app. I never used and just wanna see what the ‘face tune era’ and everyone using the same edit and looking kinda alike. I didn’t get a chance to use cause I did free trail then it run out it today and I forgot to see like other cool things it can do. Hate that there’s no free anything and you have to pay to use. They should do some free stuff like 1/4 of options can be free so people can use the app then like 3/4 is premium where you pay the $10 a month or whatever. There’s so many app that’s better than this one and IS FREE. Why am I paying so much like $10. Not in this economy. If you to get most usage and customer listen to me and 1. Lower your monthly cost and not just the one year one only like you have. Lower the monthly even with 1 month. 2. Have some free options on there like other apps and then like 1/3 of the things or 1/4 is a free then the other 2/3 or 3/4 they have to pay for the membership. Better because then they’re using some stuff already and wanna make that commitment / sub because they see all the cool already like free stuff I should just try it so I can try these other stuff. Yearly Subscription?
I have the basic Facetune but decided to also purchase this Facetune for the added features the original doesn’t have but I found myself going back to the original one because I found it easier to work with. So today I decided to go into this app and the first thing I see is where you’re asked to sign up to a subscription?!? Excuse me but why should pay for a subscription on an app I paid to use?!? Like another reviewer said and I agree.. I am not paying for another subscription to add yet another subscription and squeeze it into my budget, not fair!! For if you didn’t know not all the ppl using this app is an influencer who have enough money to throw away if they please. You made enhancements to the app well my opinion is this why not create a totally new app with all the added features and let it be well known that whoever installs will be charged and signing up to a yearly subscription.Show lessDaysi03
