I have prebooked 3 taxis to the airport and it has been super handy. Taxis have always come on time, even for a super early flight.
When I instant booked one night it was so good to be able to ring the taxi driver while I was waiting to let them know exactly where I was. This is my go to taxi app now!

London cab
I prebooked a London Cab for my friends birthday. It was ontime and stored my credit card and got $20 off my ride. Driver Atilla was so nice and told me to connect my phone via bluetooth really got the night off to a great start. Same price as a normal taxi and fit 5 of us!! Definitely using RYDO again

Taxi just didn’t turn up
Tried for the first time. Made a pre-booking Friday night for early Monday morning. Checked Sunday night that the booking was still in place. All good. Monday morning when I noticed no notification appeared 15 mins before like it said it would, I checked and the pre-booking had disappeared. Nothing there or in history. Called them and they couldn’t find it either. Can only assume drivers have decided couldn’t be bothered and canned it. I’ll try Uber next time.

Don't bother
Used this App 3 times in Sydney usually seeking a $30 trip to the CBD from a South-Eastern Suburb. Whilst the App shows tens of cabs close-by, who are presumably using the App and waiting to take you to your destination, every time a cab accepts the trip they are more than 10 minutes away! Each time I end up cancelling those cabs that are clearly kms away and re-request to get a closer cab. Each time i have given up on the App and hailed a cab the old fashioned way! It is clear the App's cab-end system has significant shortcomings as cabbies dont even know someone is requesting their services. Or maybe the cab drivers cant use technology...
