Not exciting but effective
I’m really loving this app. My kid has shown huge improvement, and the app has helped fill in some of the gaps in his learning, making him much more fluent in math. As a homeschooler, I find this an invaluable resource.
My kid is not loving the app so very much. The “games” are basically like interactive worksheets. Not as fun as other math game apps, but much more thorough and effective. But we’ve discussed that he can survive 10min of just about anything, so he does his work without much complaint, often while we’re driving to a fun activity. I anticipate using this program for a long time.

It’s ok
This app is great for like 5-8 year olds but for kids like me who would rather be wasting their time playing mindless games like Fortnite it’s kind of boring (no offense). Maybe you could make some math game that’s good for 12 -14 year olds! I mean my younger siblings dig this app but me ya know, maybe you could make some fun 2-D game like Mario and to defeat bosses you have to solve math problems or something like that. So anyway this is just a 12 year old suggestion and I think that kids like me would have a blast playing something like that instead of playing other games.

Great app
My son enjoyed the interactive app. Folks complaining about sounds need to learn how to adjust the volume on their device. In a real classroom setting, there are tons of distractions from the teacher to the other students, and so on.
Still being charged!?!?!
I just checked my bank acct. and I deleted this app and unsubscribed from it at least a month ago but see that I was still charged for this month! Not happy! I would not recommend this based on that alone, but the app itself isn’t that great. They have all these options of characters to choose from to play with but they all are the same exact games there is no option to just do addition or just work on counting. I love that it progressed based on my child but they should have had more options for play as he got bored very quickly, and some of the activities he didn’t like so he should have a choice to move on from it as play the ones he does.

Good concept, annoying voices
My kids all love using the app and they are learning a lot and building confidence in their skills. However, the voices in the app are horrible and hard to understand.
So far, loving it!!
I have an 8 and 12 year old and both love doing Elephant Math. Great concept teaching and great for learning the theory behind the math, not just rote memorization of times tables and other facts, really helps them understand what math problem MEAN. Love it!!
Only suggestions: find a way to hide their Elephant Age or reframe it as Elephant Score because it is discouraging to kids to see they are behind. Also, for kids with difficult to pronounce names there is a pronounciation adjustment feature (which is so thoughtful) but we never could get it to pronounce my daughters name right. Now she just giggles at the pronounciations. Lol!

Wanted to love
I really wanted to love this app. My daughter had fun with the games, but the app runs SO SLOW on both iPhone and iPad that she would get frustrated after only a few questions. She’s too young to use the PC version, so unfortunately elephant learning isn’t a good fit for us or anyone else with toddlers.

Full of annoying sounds and distracting movement
Would you like to try to drag soccer balls to count them while they make obnoxious noises? Maybe you'd like to try and count them while they randomly jiggle? I had high hopes for this program, unfortunately they too have fallen into the trap of thinking they will make a children's learning app "high interest" and have only succeeded in making it distracting, annoying, and impossible to concentrate on the desired task. Both me and my eight year old wanted to toss the iPad across the room just trying to do the first part of the assessment.

Excellent - Above Expectations
This app is excellent and works as advertised. My 5 year old son and 8 year old daughter really had fun doing math with this app. The developer is very responsive to questions and even called me personally.
Reading the other reviews I think some people didn’t get it.
This curriculum is created custom for your child and is presented as a game. The child can change the games theme/skin at any time, but the content is the same.
My 5 year old son loved the submarine theme, and the cool reward icons that show up after each problem. My 8 year old daughter choose the unicorn theme for her games.
1. The animal / character icons are just different themes, not levels and not different content.
2. The experience is seamless even when you change themes.
3. The whole thing starts with an assessment, so my kids were shown both familiar and new concepts.
The app customizes the content for each child based on their initial assessment and ongoing scores.
Overall I am very satisfied with the product and the support. The developer was responsive, polite and very professional.

9 year old son loves it!
Our 9 year old son has advanced nearly 2 years in math in less than 3 months. He loves elephant and has devoted more time to it than I would have asked him because he enjoys it so much. He accomplished this much work by devoting about 40 min a day during the week. He loves it and as his homeschool mom I am very pleased with the program and what he is learning and that it is fun for him too. It is easy to log in and track his work too. We haven't experienced any glitches with the program. It works great!
