bugged out
i honestly wish i could write an amazing review, considering i’ve been playing this game since i was in elementary school; playing the lite version. when the 3 came out i was super excited to see what fixes and changes were made to the game, but honestly it isn’t impressive at all. i’ve wasted so many coins on unnecessary things because the game crashes. i tried to buy/ renovate a room and it would take my thousands of coins, but no workers would come renovate it, so in the end, i wasted 10s of thousands of coins trying to renovate my families house. it takes time and even some money to earn these coins and then you get nothing? odd… i also bought a dog, multiple dog toys etc. i wasn’t on the game for maybe 2 days and the dog is gone (also costed me 2000 coins in total) and no where in my family. my family ALSO had a child, and when i came back (this has happened to me twice) the child was gone by the age of 5??? i’m just very confused. i remember in the old games they’d stay until they were 18 then go off to college, and the animals would stay for generations. but i’m here spending thousands of coins i’ve been working for for weeks only to get nowhere.Show less$4V
Good game, still some issues
I loved playing virtual families 2, and it’s always been one of my favorite mobile games. So far everything has been going pretty smoothly other than some minor bugs, like people and pets walking through walls. One thing that has bothered me a lot though, and the only reason I didn’t give 5 stars, was that I bought a dog recently, (not sure if there are any problems with the other dogs, I’ve only bought the beagle, so maybe the problem is just with the beagles?) and all my dog does is bark. At first, the only action he did was bark at the tv, which I tried discouraging over and over again, but his happiness was going down, so I removed the tv. Now all he does is “bark excitedly”. I also have a hamster and a cat and none of them get stuck doing one action. I’ve tried picking him up and setting him down again, and still all he does is bark excitedly. I have to set him down on the bed to get a break from the barking, but I’m going to be upset if I have to get rid of him if he can’t stop only barking. I purchased the obedience school for him too and this did nothing. I’d like to have dogs in this game, but I’m afraid they’ll do the same thing as my beagle and I’ll just be wasting my coins.
Update: I had to get rid of the dog after everything bc it still would not stop “barking excitedly”. Got another cat and now it’s doing the same thing too, is this happening to anyone else?Show lessCovetUser5

Most of this is a great game but there is a ghost in my house and there is no way to get rid of her unless a Cierten (sorry about my spelling) random event happens and what are the chanes that’s gonna happen!? Also I’m in like the third generation and on the merrade app i put in my charicter as female and I might have made a mistake on what I put in but all of my cannidates were girls first of all about this problem how do I stop it From giving me girls? Now there is two more things I would like in the game there could be a scene where your little family goes to the pet store and like say you would like a hamster there could be different hamsters with different types of personalities and they come in different colors like black or brown. I am requesting that when your little people or pets die on the death screen there is your reason why they died mabie they were sick or maybe they starved.

The new update…Pets!!!!
I like the fact that the creators of the games taught outside of the box by giving families pets cats dogs turtles rats etc. but I do have some complaints since the new update I have noticed some glitches. I go and look at my goals and it’s telling me that I haven’t completed the goals that I know I have completed. I’m more than 12 generations in and one of the first goals I completed with my very first family was having 12 kids and it’s telling me that I did not complete that goal but I can go back and look at the family map and see that I completed that goal. So now I have to achieve that goal again. And when I make my family cook them self dinners they sit down at the table and it glitches… it seems like they’re about to get up and then the system sit them back down at the table And it does that a couple times before they actually get up. Which is really weird because I like to make sure that my family is completely full so I make them sit down two times to eat instead of once therefore they can be completely full and but when I go back to sit them down the second time so they can be completely full the system glitches and won’t let them sit back down to eat. It will make them prepare another meal when there’s already a meal at the table to eat. So the new update comes with glitches that’s the only downside.Show lessMyhoni

This has been one of my favorite games for a while! I’ve been keeping up with all of the virtual family games from the first one that came out. My mom and I are obsessed but we noticed that with this new sequel, to buy coins is way more expensive compared to the second one which is weird.. it makes me not want to buy any coins at all. Also, there should be an option where the parents are able to take care of the babies in depth like for example, they can bathe them, clothe them, buy them cribs or toys, feed them, and play with them. And I would also love to see an option where we can change the wallpaper colors and designs in all the rooms. Another thing that I would love to see is more holiday decorations for our little families to have around the house. There is a limited amount of Christmas decorations compared to the second virtual families where they have a wreath, a Christmas tree, and even ornaments etc. Overall, I love playing this game! This gaming app has been around for years so I’d expect the graphics to be way better by now. I like the game but it definitely has potential so that’s why I’d only give 3 stars for now unless this a major change in the game. Some of the prices are steep as far a the medicine, food and clothing (since clothing options are limited, I get the same selection of clothes every generation) I would like to see a change on that. Oh yeah, and to improve the house is also pricey I think that’s ridiculous for the simple fact that each generation only lasts for a couple of days so as a gamer I have to spend more money just to keep upgrading my house. I should at-least have more interactions too. The children only get “tickled” and told stories… they should do more productive things like going to school for maybe 45 minutes of in- game time, get rewarded for them going to school which would allow me to get more coins so I can upgrade the house…. I don’t know, just a suggestion. I would like to see more hair selections too. And when are the Pets coming? Why can’t we interact with other people that play the game too. definitely some things to be improved upon
i love this game !! it’s so nostalgic because i used to play it when i was in middle school. i like virtual families 3 because there are a lot of good updates !! both parents can carry the baby, the babies look like the parents, new expansions, a mystery ghost,, etc ! however, there are some glitches. i’ve had about 10 babies just disappear ? they’re born and i check their name and all and just stay on the game for a little and i come back and the baby is just gone, off the family tree and just gone. the same thing happens w groceries occasionally, i pay for all of them and stock them up and then they’re just not there ? this isn't a couple days later it’s like 5-20 minutes after buying 10 bags of groceries. ALSO the maid should not be that expensive/day. the highway starting salary ive seen for a person is 105 a day but the maid costs 750 everyday ??? how is a maid making 7x the top starting salary for one of our little peopleShow less0384894

My friend and I use to play virtual families 2 in middle school and all I remember is us changing the times and dates on our phones to get more money. This game is based around everything costing WAY more money then ur little people make a day. My little character makes 90$ a day but a tv in the game cost 2 thousand dollars? The only way to get money in this game TRULY is by watching 10, 30 second annoying ads. A pool in the game cost 14 thousand coins? I mean I get it, u have to work up to it it’s the whole point of the game but it gets to a point where it’s like okay I’m bored bc everything cost way too much money and u can’t do much if u don’t have money. Just make things a little cheaper so things can actually MOVE in the game. It feels like such a long process. If things were cheaper then obtaining those things would be easier and the game would be more fun but like once u buy all the cheap career upgrades the only ones left cost 10k-14k which takes way too long to save up for and at that point why would I wanna waste all my money on that? It took me days if not weeks just to save that up. When I wanna play this game I wanna feel like it’s a game not real life where I’m stressed trying to buy things 😂Show lessLaneyocean
Great game but 2 things wrong.........
I really like this game, but I would love it if you fixed these issues. My two real complaints, number 1 why is their no Muslim game characters like can we have a female with a headscarf/ hijab so it can be more relatable to the female Muslims who play this game. Also one other very important thing, it would be very good if you guys allowed us to connect with other players in the game, like for example we would be able to visit each others homes, chat with each other, share gifts and money with each other and travel together. The reason I say this is because the game can get kind of boring/ lonely when your not playing with others sometimes I don’t play for weeks because their are no other players with me to enjoy the game; so I just would leave my game for a while because of how lonely and boring it is playing alone with no one else to chat with. Honestly if you guys added these 2 new features that I mentioned earlier your game would probably become #1 on The AppStore, people would enjoy the game more because they can play with friends and we would really feel connected to the characters more if they became more diverse. I know me and millions of girls playing this are Muslim we would love it if you made a Muslim female character for us to relate with. This game introduces so many new features that I am stoked about: bigger house, more renovation options, more furniture, same sex couples, up to 12 kids per generation, and more.
However, it’s difficult to enjoy playing this game. Earning money is unnecessarily difficult; peeps don’t work on their careers nearly as much as they did in the first two games, so work income is very unreliable. You may be relying on selling collectibles, watching ads, and/or spending real life money to earn a decent amount of coins. As such, adoption is very expensive in this game, which unfortunately makes having a same-sex couple very costly, even if they only adopt ONE child.
I’ve been hearing about severe game glitches (typically for people who have had several generations) that have yet to be fixed, issues like children going missing, furniture disappearing, peeps getting stuck, peeps not aging, and even peeps getting partnered with a clone of themselves or their sibling. Hearing about these issues on top of the ones I’ve experienced make me reluctant to invest any actual money into this game. Unless the developers make major changes soon, I think I’ll stick to VF2.Show less•Yellowberry•
