This game immediately caught my attention when I saw it. Extremely cool mashup concept! Cool throwback graphics! And now with the physics fix, it plays much better. Thanks for making such an awesome game!NSF5075
Good, but unfortunately...
This is a fascinating game. If you are reading my review, you are probably fully aware of the mechanics. It's Breakout, with an faux RPG twist. Like at least one other reviewer has pointed out, the bones of a serious game are here. But the mechanics of this game needs so much work, I'm not sure I can recommend it at this time.
Problem #1- Almost no control over the "ball." With any game of this style, this is a huge frustration. This absolutely must be addressed.
Problem #2- The ball physics in general need work. Occasionally the thing goes flying off in random directions.
Problem #3- Quite often the group crowd together, incorrectly distributing the players team.
Problem #4- No RPG!! The RPG elements are minor if nonexistent. This could've been solved simply by giving characters health bars. All characters save for your central character are one hit kills. If you lose the ball behind the screen, you also lose a character. This leads to many pointless frustrating turn arounds, where a game going well suddenly ceases to be worth playing. Perhaps a rogue like mechanism- The main character never dies; you can level up and increase attack and health of side characters, but if you lose them they are gone forever.Show lessashenol
Fun mashup of breakout and RPG
The ball physics has been fixed! This game reminds me a little of Arkanoid with its breakout plus extras feel. It's fun to play through levels and find everything along the way.Henotheist

Looked cool, not fun
I knew this was just fantasy break out going into it, but I was expecting better quality. The physics in particular are just dreadful. You can't hit the ball from the side and it bounces around seemingly at random. The ball often gets stuck bouncing around the stage horizontally and, when there's a timer, kind of ruins the fun.Show lessBishopofHippo
Ball Gets Stuck
The ball gets stuck too much. It gets into this horizontal pattern, just sliding back and forth across the screen. There's nothing you can do but wait out the timer. This needs to be fixed, pronto.
If "game stew" can't fix this app, I'll be avoiding them in the future.Dave033
Delicious Game Stew
This is the most entertaining take I have seen of a breakout type game. The only thing that keeps me from giving this game five stars is that the ball tends to get stuck easily, especially on the edges of the screen.Jfarteaga
