Best meals I have made did myself in ages
This is a fantastic product! I set it up in a few minutes and in about 30 minutes out of box I was eating! And the food is great! I wish they had more selection but what they serve is awesome! Hopefully as more people buy they can expand the menu, but I'd say if you don't have a lot of time and want good meals at home this is for you! And as a bonus it is a great convection oven for any use not just for their food. It makes me want to use my microwave less too. 4.95/5

Incredible - Best Purchase of the Year
This is one of the best purchases I’ve made this year! Cooking for one after years of cooking for four was a challenge and I felt as if I wasted too much food. Now I can have gourmet meals of my choosing and my food budget has benefited. I also appreciate being able to scale-up when I want to. I chose the 3-meal/week plan so I can cook some favorites during the week for leftovers and work lunches, but then can spend evenings when I don’t want to cook letting Tovala do the cooking. Appreciate that the oven can be used for so much more too. VERY happy with Tovala.

App and food!
For a start up and getting a company moving in the right direction this program works. The app is easy to use and the food when it comes tastes great when cooked as recommended. I love the convenience of scan to cook. I also like being able to look recipes up on the app and use them for similar meals I am making at home. The Tovala oven is fantastic for cooking portion control small family meals. There are some other features about it that I like for instance the fact that you can steam bake broil in one cooking cycle makes for endless cooking possibilities for many dishes. Overall I like the app, the oven, and pre made meals. The only down side is the meals for delivery with a single person work great for me but would take two people serving size to satisfy my husband. Not many children’s or breakfast recipes on the app but people are just getting started on down loading recipes so hopefully more will show up in time. Overall I’m mostly happy with device and app access I only give 3 stars because I think the could come up with some options for a hungry man meal that would better fit men who do physical jobs and require more calories intakes vs an office job.

Awesome service!
This is an Incredible option for working busy people. The meals are way healthier than fast food and waaaay cheaper than going out. Every meal is great and some are fantastic!
You might ask yourself “Why can’t I just put some chicken breast and veggies in the oven, it’ll taste the same?” Here’s your answer:
The meat (chicken/fish/steak) come pre-marinated. The marinades makes the meat so tender when it’s cooked!Unless you marinate each of your meals for at least 24 hours you’re not gonna get the same flavor and juiciness out of the meat.

Old lady who loves her Tovala
I’m 74 and live alone. I had a health issue resulting in a 20 pound weight loss. My lovely daughters were worried and together decided to gift me a Tovala oven, w some meals. At first I was dismayed bc I’m not great w new WiFi ‘stuff’ and I didn’t want to disappoint them.
But I’m in love! The meals are a perfect size and delicious and the instructions could not be easier. I’m convinced they must use grandparents for focus groups. I do need to remember to push the start button. I do a three meal plan for budget reasons plus I enjoy cooking. It’s just a fun and useful addition to my life. Thank you Tovala (and daughters).

Amazingly delicious!!!
We are absolutely thrilled with Tovala! Technology has come so far. The oven is fabulous but more than that the food is spectacular! The convenience of just putting it in the oven and it’s a delicious meal in around 20 minutes is wonderful. However it’s the food. The seasonings, the flavor, the quality! The oven really does broil bake toast and steam the food perfectly. The oven is big enough to hold two meals and while it’s cooking I have a few minutes to get everything ready. The meals are perfect size, well balanced and the selections are great.

Just like it says “ultimate time saving machine”
This is EXACTLY what I have needed for the past thirty tears. On the go and just not enough time in the day to prepare- shop for good. I am a good cook so did not really expect the quality and taste to be 5 star but amazingly surprised and delighted with every meal so far. I do like three foods on my plate so I do find that I have to prepare one item to go with each meal. Usually, spinach or broccoli which are both quick to prepare. I might just be able to take a few evenings off and play Pickleball. Thanks Tovala. You have definitely lived up to your motto.

The best purchase ever!!!
I am a single person and was tired of not eating as I do not know how to cook for one person. I have been enjoying the variety the food in the kits I’m sent meals taste amazing and even better yet I am offered recipes I can cook on my own that are easy to prepare with minimal prep time. I have asked a lot of questions to their customer service department and they are amazing! Keep up the awesome work you all do and I can’t wait for more recipes on your app!

Service is awesome, but the app leaves something to be desired
The food is AWESOME -- let me just put that out there. When this works (and it usually does, it tastes fantastic and is a great temperature. Almost as if it was solid takeout.
However, there are drawbacks. One particular one I’ve noticed is while the app notifies you your food has finished cooking, it doesn’t tell you if the oven has stopped (in the middle of the cycle). As a result, your food just sits there partially uncooked and the only way for you to know that is to check in on it.
In short, while this app does tell you when the cycle is done, it doesn’t tell you if it stops. That leaves the possibility that it sits there uncooked for a while -- without you knowing.

Love my Tovala
I bought this oven on a Black Friday special that required 6 weeks of meals. I thought I would use those 6 weeks and then cancel my subscription, but have never stopped. I have loved nearly every meal with the Tovala. The chicken and the salmon always turn out perfect. I work a lot, so I prepare a few meals ahead of time and take to work. Prep is a minute or two and clean up is even less. I’m spending so much less time in the kitchen. Now I only cook what I enjoy making and the rest of the time still eat delicious food. It’s streamlined my grocery shopping, so less time at the store. My only complaint is that for a single person, 6 meals a week was almost too much. I loved it, but I missed some of my own meals and the restaurants I frequent. I had been thinking of skipping every other week or something so I could mix those things back in, but Tovala offered a breakfast meal option, so I’m back in. I keep raving about it to anyone who will listen, but people are skeptical. I call it my easy bake oven, lol. Am seriously considering buying this for my parents, who live in a small town with limited dining options and an even smaller offering of options at the grocery store for cooking. I’ve tried other meal plans, and although I enjoyed cooking and learning how to cook new things, I became busier in my career and needed to free up some time from somewhere.
