do _not_ try to update your firmware with this app. there's a strong chance it'll brick your shiftng, and you'll need a windows PC to reflash the firmware.Jilliansaurus

This app is for adjusting settings & updating firmware for your Di2
The “Ride” version is to use your iPhone as a bike computer…which if you have a Di2 I guarantee you own a proper bike computermbesx
Do not even touch it!
Tried to update my Canyon strive today. Phone on top of the stem, not doing any other thing with it or the bike.
Shifter upload ok.
Motor update failed at 40% and turned the bike off.
Now it wont start or connect via bluetooth. Guess i will now have a months long battle with the brand and shimano. Wonderful.Show lessCachopo man
Keep Shutting Down
Every time I try to open it, the app shuts starts, then immediately shuts down. Sometimes I can get through one of the startup prompts, but can't get past the login screen.Tnruss
Abysmal
Slow, difficult to find the information you are looking for. Supposed to be Bluetooth connectivity but doesn’t seem to work if you don’t have great cellular reception and a lot of the mountain bike areas are in remote locations with little service.lensign
UGH!!!!
This app is the Bain of my existence! It rarely connects and even then is painful to use. Also, why have it separated from E-TUBE Ride? I can always connect to that worthless app, but it has no functionality other than recording a ride, which is of little importance since that basic functionality is EVERYwhere.
I want to be able to quickly connect to my bikes - every single time - be able to easily make adjustments and updates, and see analysis.

After thought of an app
Difficult to connect: sometimes it connects easily, sometimes it doesn’t. Plus it’s only one button on the derailleurs so if you struggle to connect and push it repeatedly, you can accidentally change modes. Also the most prominent thing should be battery health. It’s also just 5 simple green bars for the derailleurs and a single green light for the shifters.
And passing along a warning: my LBS made it very clear to not try updating via the app. They get back bricked bikes all the time from people trying.Show lesszoobuildin
Slow and Caused E203 error!
All takes way too long to connect.
But then, after the update a few months ago, it produced an E203 error on my 801 that can’t be cleared! 😡Capt. Gizmo
