Change the app name please!
It is nearly impossible to find this app by searching your phone if you have it installed. I have to go to the App Store every time I need it because the name is so bad. Try searching “di2” or “Shimano” no results. Why would I remember it is called e-tube?L-Dawge
Allow to connect to Apple Watch Workouts
I use this app to update the Shimano components on my MTB, and to make power adjustments. It works well for that, however I would like to see integration for Apple Watch Workouts pushed to my bike. With watchOS one can connect via Bluetooth to “health devices” under Settings>Bluetooth>Health Devices, but my MTB does not show up. It would be sweet if this integration was added so it would link to outdoor cycle workout, and so all of my exercise info is in one place - the Health app on iOS.Show lessDirtyJ375
Produces E203 error on EP-801!
The guys are Shimano support are great! But, this app is really poor.
Most importantly, it messes up your motor’s firmware and reports an E203 error. The boot still functions, despite the log saying assist won’t work any longer!
The app takes forever to connect and really doesn’t provide that much of anything once you do get connected.
The only things I use it for are updates and the shifter config. I haven’t found any need to modify the Profiles.Show lessCapt. Gizmo
Custom Cassettes Needed
The app in general is very good, but why aren't at least all of the Shimano cassettes included, not just Ultegra and DA? Quite annoying that I must choose an option that's "close enough" to the 11-34 I have. How hard can this be? 30 minutes (I'm being gracious here, might take 5 minutes) of coding and a day of regression testing? Come on, guys. 🙄Show lesstawaspt
Bad
I have both SRAM AXS and Di2 bikes. Comparing the respective apps in terms of usability, function, and everything else, E-Tube is WAY behind.

Connection issues
This app works 2/10 times. It does not connect to the bike or shimano system. I’ve tried everything in the support articles and it doesn’t work. I was only able to connect it once. I’m not able to customize anything as the app doesn’t connect. Terrible experience.ghbjommk
Won’t reconnect
Same as other negative reviews - seems to be working perfectly during initial setup, but if you switch screens on your iPhone to do something else and then go back to the app, it (i) requires you to re-log in (even though you never coded the app), and (ii) can’t find your bike (even though the login presumably worked). Frustrating!
A single purpose app that doesn’t connect for its single use! Using iPhone 13 and no luck - same as other users. It shouldn’t be that difficult to make an app….Rossen Atanassov
Will not connect to Bluetooth after initial setup
Was able to setup the app perfectly in iPhone 13. Changed gear ratios, auto-sync, gear change, also able to connect to my Garmin 1040 and program the buttons on the shifters to swap screens.
Did a few rides, tried to connect the app to the bike again, it sees the WiFi controller EW-WU111, tried to connect and returns the error “The Bluetooth® LE connection was interrupted. Try connecting again.”
I’ve tried a dozen times, even shifted the rear derailleur to make sure all systems were good.

Won’t find the bike
Downloaded and set up at the store. Got home and rode a few times. Tried to connect this past week to check the battery health: no go. Spins and spins. Tried connecting the Bluetooth again and again using the button as directed on the equipment itself, but it won’t connect. I’m deleting the app and going to reload and log in again when I get home this week. But pretty sketchy app. Almost better to not play in the tech space or outsource that part, Shimano, if you can’t create something reliable.Show lessElisecom
