Terrible app
Why is my bike requiring a passkey I don’t have to register it? and why do I need to suddenly an account to use this app.Funky Phresh Bruh

The bike registers ok, but then afterwards on subsequent days, the app can’t find it. Just spins and spins and tells me it’s searching. Sad excuse for an app in this day and age. The parts this app is supposed to connect to cost about $700. I have been riding for 45 years, every component a Shimano. I Will never buy or recommend a Shimano component again. Utterly feel ripped off! Also, my review has been up now for 40 days or so. Other low reviews have been up longer. Clearly no one from Shimano is monitoring this for customer satisfaction.Show lessSwan917
Little bit slow to connect but good app, battery health info needed
It takes a little bit longer to start the app and connect to the bike each time but once it starts it is useful and reliable. I really appreciate recent addition which added display of total mileage. It would be great if battery health info could be added too.Nevengal
5.2.0 no issues for me
Hesitant to download because of all the low ratings but the app worked just fine for me on my 23 yt decoy ep8 w/e7000 screen. Updated the motor and shift selectorGuess Who Trick

First time Di2 user. Created an account, connected to my Ultegra 8100 groupset without issues. Updated mechs. So far none of the bugs or problems with the app in the reviews.
Only unpleasant surprise is that you need to buy a special cable and an adapter to upgrade the firmware on the shift levers, so not really a fully wireless system.Show lessNotingToSeeHere

A login to Shimano is required; the app won’t work if you skip this step. Every subsequent connection will require the Bluetooth to be enabled by pressing the button on the bike. Once those rules are followed, the app works well. I was able to change to semi-synchronized shifting on the first use after login. Doesn’t work
Brand new Di2 105. App doesn’t connect to see RD. E-tube cyclist sees it and connects to it but not this app. So how do I check firmware? Update firmware?Andrea W_322

So many problems with this app.
This app is an absolute waste of time. I’ve experienced login problems, firmware update issues, and finding one of my bike’s Di2 components always results in failure. When it does work it’s slow.Terence Patrick
