Retro gamer MUST
This app is a must for the retro gamer. If you collect or looking to start, this is the app for you. I coach teens and they know I collect as they call it "old games". This app has allowed me to show them my game collection and teach them about the games and system that I love. Also I use to have a list on my phone of my games for when I was out looking for games. Now it's all in the app.

Great App
This app is great. It is much like the book by the same author, but it allows you to see the price of your collection. My only complaint is that there is no way to see a list of the titles you own.
A Nintendo collector's best friend
In spite of already having the book written by Pat Contri that contains most of this info, I found that the unique feature with which you can keep track of your own NES collection worth the price in itself.
This is one of the best resources you can have on hand if you collect, thanks to all of the detail that went into compiling this app and its hardcover book counterpart - from label variations and region exclusive games, to info on some of the more rare and obscure cartridges (even non-licensed ones).
If you are new to the hobby - or are a seasoned game collector - this app is definitely a definitive guide on everything you could ever want to know about the NES library.

A great app for any NES fan!
First, the positives: I love how easy this app is to use. Any feature you would want is right there and you'll find some pretty amazing facts about your favorite games.
The app covers all released NES games, not just the "Official" games.
The things I would improve are adding the NES Cleaning Kit to Accessories, adding third party NES clone systems to the "Systems" tab, a wishlist/shopping list would be nice, and allow people to adjust value of collection based on condition, including a flag or list for games you own but want it in better condition.

This IS the mobile app version of Pat Contri's (Pat the NES Punk) who is an NES expert and owns every NES game.
You can easily catalog every game in you collection even specify if it's in the box or just the cart and the app keeps track of what your collection is worth based on actual prices instead of just eBay comparisons.
If you collect NES, you will love this app's usefulness and customisable collection features.
It works offline so it is great for swap meets/flea markets/retro game stores.
Well worth the price paid.

The DEFINITIVE NES Guide / Collector's App
Seriously.. stop looking. I've tried every video game collecting/cataloging app in existence (free and paid), and none of them even come close to matching this. Attractive, comprehensive, easy to use -- clearly a lot of time and love went into this thing and I can't praise it enough.

Awesome app
This is the perfect way to find and collect NES games and see if it's any good with reviews. It's a must app for NES junkies like myself.
Great App - great updates
I'm a big fan of Pat and I'm a big fan of this product. It's a great interface and very useful. I would like to make a suggestion though. They have been so good at proving updates and constantly improving things I hope this is also taken onboard. It would be great to be able to assign PAL artwork to the games. Similarly the rarity is based on US availability and it's not as accurate for European releases. I don't have a solution for this either, it means the average price is off too. I don't think that element can be changed without rewriting an entire book (which is also excellent, go and buy it). The book was only possible due to first hand knowledge and experience of the games and the industry but it is specific to the US.
Great job, thanks for the book and the app but PAL artwork should be an achievable possibility and would really improve this for myself and others in the UK and Europe as a whole.

A RETRO 'MUST HAVE'
Unlike many other 'NES' guide apps, this one has that 'extra something' that leaves you satisfied. The summarizing reviews of each game, will make you realize that your 'retro needs on the go' are in fact, found in these reviews, and are as thoroughly covered as if it were you in the past, diving into them. Add a mix of mature intellect, and you got yourself an addictive little program, 100% original in content. (If the shipping weren't so expensive, I'd even be inclined to buy the actual book...)
