  • Canadian Trains

Please add some Via Rail locomotives and rolling stock and some Canadian maps too!
  • Good

I would like to see more CN locomotives though.
  • Lied to preorder customers.

I remember when this was about to be released, Apple advertised it to me and I paid early for it with the game being unlocked about a week after I bought it. At that time we were promised world building / track editing like we had with previous Trainz sims. Over a year later and we haven’t seen any of that added in fact we haven’t gotten any updates in over a year. All they added is dlc to buy. I have bought so many different trainz apps for the iPad / iPhone (none were universal) and had to buy the dlc each time for each device, and every new trainz do it all over again on multiple devices. Enough with this nonsense. This is just a money grab for a poorly done sim. It’s abandoned and we never got the updates we were promise. Of course no refunds.

  • Graphics are good, more updates though please?

I’ve been a fan of the Trainz series for a long time, and this game is a very big step (on mobile that is)

The graphics in this game are outstanding, and it’s very realistic as a train simulator.

My problem with this game is there is a lack of updates and overall content. I mean no updates for a year is both disappointing and worrying. As in it is a bit worrying that the devs took the money from this game and just ran away.

I have many doubts they would do that but no updates for a year? concering.

  • Good game with so much potential, but…

*edit* *The game desperately needs a route editor and to improve the battery draining still*

Let me start by saying I absolutely love this game and have been buying most of the new routes/trains. Not to mention the incredible graphics and good driving. Despite this, the fact the route editor hasn’t been released yet is quite a shame as I loved creating routes on the previous edition. However, since downloading some of the more recent packs, like the TGV duplex, I was getting the error message saying that some game assets have not been loaded correctly as some sort of game cache error or something. Furthermore since then, I have been unable to load the app. I get past the first loading screen and am just greeted by a white screen, with nothing happening no matter how long I leave it loading. It’s got to the point where I’m considering requesting a refund for the price of the game and the in game purchases that I’m now unable to access or use. If it wasn’t for the fact that I respect this game studio and am holding out hope for an update to fix the game and introduce the route editor, I would’ve already requested it. This isn’t even including the problem with the game occasionally crashing and losing progress… Overall, a good game, beautiful graphics and driving with lots of potential, but held back by some significant bugs to the point my version is completely unplayable on what is a relatively new iPad.

  • Amazing, but two problems

This game is probably the most advanced and realistic train simulator I have ever seen on IOS. You can have high speed trains and an actual high speed rail line, you can double head trains and it is just an overall great game. But, when you buy the game and then buy some of the trains and cars that they have to offer, but they take up a lot of space on your device. Secondly, I personally think that they should add more popular locomotives like UP 844 for example, or maybe a PRR K4. But that is just my opinion so maybe I am a very picky person when it comes to train simulators.

  • TRAINZ Has Returned For Mobile

I am a big fan of the TRAINZ series (despite not being able to get ahold of most of the games), and a massive train nerd. I enjoy the game, but I really wish some remakes of older content would be available. Also, it’s hard for a my device to load, but it’s still a really good game. But, I really wish you didn’t have to created an account just to make your own sessions and routs. I hope to see more content get added, for the foreseeable and unforseeable future. This is a really good game, and I love it.

  • Great, but some issues

First of, I’d like to say that overall, this game is great, but a few things, one you need to add derailments! I had to trains collide at like over 100mph, when they hit, all it does is puts x’s above, second, more trains, you need to add more trains, I mean, you put quite a few in, but you need to add trains like mallord or big boy, finally, you need to fix stuff, when I blow the whistle on the L.M.S, in the middle of the whistle it bugs out, also, the Amtrak doesn’t even have any coaches, which is a bummer because really like Amtrak, but the game is great.

  • Most advanced sim ever , But some things need to be addressed

First off I am an engineer with CSX and i have to say that N3VGAMES did this one right with the realisic of sounds detail etc etc. I’ve spent a ton of money over the years with TS3, TANE, TS19 AND TS22 BETA.
With that said i have found some issues with this one here’s what i think should be done with this game that will improve this game a ton. Can we see ts3 become a cross play with all other versions and can we also see in the future 3rd party content to be imported to TS3. I find myself playing ts3 more due to the on demand connection no glitches or freezing what so ever. I hope that the developers can come thru with this at some point they have done an awesome job so far keep up the great work. One more thing what’s up with the updates i have found that if you delete the app reinstall and restore purchases you get more dlc content on TS3 weird.
