Trainz 3 Often Won’t Load
First, my 12yo grandson thoroughly enjoys this game - especially the terrific graphics. However, there are seemingly more times than not when the game just won’t load - sometimes it will after 2-3 minutes. He is getting quite frustrated. He plays the game on his iPad. Is this a known problem? Is there something that we can do to get the game to load when it should? Any ideas? I want to give 5 stars, but don’t feel I can right now. Enjoying the game very much. Trying to install new content but it does take a while to download. When I want to uninstall a session or route, also takes a while to do that.
When are new content coming and when is the next update?

Great game, awkward UI
First off, this is the most advanced train sim I’ve seen for iOS to date. It has great lighting, shadows, locomotive & rolling stock design and textures and immersive audio. To me, the user interface feels a bit clunky and awkward to use. For example, the important secondary controls like horn & whistle are in a separate menu called the “action menu” that you have to toggle to to use. And when you toggle to the action menu, you lose control of the main controls, even though it doesn’t cover much of the screen. There is often a noticeable lag when toggling between the main controls and one of the menus. Oh, and the whistle gets stuck at times. Also, when you are dynamic braking and have the train info menu at the bottom left toggled to display one of the two infographics other than the speed indicator, the little speed indicator in the upper right corner of the screen that helps you keep track of the speed limit disappears and just says “Dynamic break engaged” or something similar. Just a couple of little things that annoy me about how the UI is designed but other than that the game

Just WOW
I used to play Trainz Simulator 2 all the time. This game just gives me nostalgia. The first time I clicked on Trainz 3 I was really excited. It is absolutely worth the money. I do have some suggestions. I think we need the Cass Scenic Railroad/shays, climax’s and heislers. I love the Cass Scenic Railroad and I’m sure lots of other people want to see it like me in the game. Thank you for creating this game :)Show lessmonty&frankie
Great graphics, Easy to use, but needs more US steam locomotives
I love playing this game, but I(and many others) would like to see more US steam locomotives, the content store has many UK and German locomotives, 8 US steam locomotives vs 15 UK, German, Australian, and Chinese locomotives(with UK having 11, Germany has 2, Australia and China both have 1 steam locomotive each. The Steam locomotives I want are the NYC Mohawk(with smoke deflectors), The Union Pacific Big Boy and/or Union Pacific #844, Pennsylvania Railroad K4, the Denver & Rio Grande Western L-105 class 3700, and AT&SF 2-8-2, N3V can use the model from Trainz 2, it will keep down production costs from having to create a brand new modelShow lessThunderFox01
Overall Great, but with several bugs
N3V, this game is great. I downloaded Trainz Simulator 2 when it was introduced, and I was wondering what the next one would be. Well, TS3 is a massive upgrade. The graphics are amazing; the content is more realistic; and the maps are more enjoyable. Having different HUD displays for speed and gradients truest simplifies the driving experience. I enjoy the realistic sounds of the EMD SD70 and C40-8W; it feels spectacular. But in the midst of success, there are still a few bugs. When you load the game, it immediately throws you into a world (the tutorial or one you were playing earlier). It seems rather annoying and more chaotic compared to TS2s interface. There are some problems with saving worlds as well. Sometimes I do not want to save progress; however, when I reload the session, it resumes right where something happened (I.e, a train derailment). I know you guys are working to fix them, but I’m hoping they get fixed before releasing a World Builder; the game would be more enjoyable with the bugs fixed. Bugs that need to be addressed
Some devices can’t handle the game so if the device can’t handle lower the screen resolution and players have a white screen sometimes when they launch the app so if that happens dont make it so that you have got to reinstall the app and it need to detect device heat if too hot app will lower the resolution to a safe level for you device game is good but needs further improvementsShow lessFnf sonic
Fun game but…
This is a fun game but you may not be able to play your game at the moment (due to many different reasons N3V games may give) anyway, I also think they should add some more locomotives particularly some Great Western locomotives like the Great Bear (the only GWR pacific ever built), the GWR steam rail motor with it’s trailer, and the Auto Train (which consists of an 14XX and one or two Auto coaches), and some LNER locomotives like the A4, W1 (original and rebuilt), and the U1 last but not least some London Midland and Scottish locomotives like the Turbomotive and the LMS Garrett.Show lessTRAIN LOVER 2004
Great but it needs better optimization
The game is great, it is very realistic, it is fun to play, its definitely worth your money if you have a very strong device. But the iPad Air 3 crashes quite often due to the limited memory it has, and buying a new device is quite expensive. So i think it would be nice to make this game more compatible and smoother with some of the lower end devices so that the experience of this game is better than it already is. New maps and railway stock
This game is a good game but we need a Melbourne map with some trams and a full on Australian map so u can drive trains around Australia and come to my town like kerang vic need mutiplayer other then that good game good job guys keep what your doing.
