Great Speakers Unusable App!
Love the speakers but the app is virtually unusable, gapless fix is a joke now greater than 10 seconds. Lucky if you get through an album before it becomes a stuttering mess. Luckily I have an Oppo connected to fall back on!

App doesn’t work properly
These are fantastic speakers but are let down by an awful app! It just doesn’t work keep updating the speakers and the app since I have had the speakers but still no joy! Have just tried again to no avail. So sadly they remain plugged into a Sonos system which works perfectly!!
Connection problems
Same connectivity issues expressed by others. App often loses connection or can’t find speakers. Makes the WiFi mode of playing the speakers almost unusable. Please KEF fix this it could be so cool!

Hi there, you need to download the music offline to your device first before they can be played to your speaker. In the Apple Music app, select the albums or songs and click the cloud icon to download offline
What a shame
The speakers offer a great, compact stand alone solution for hi fi in small spaces, like today’s apartments. Everything sounds very, very good once you get it to play. Unfortunately to do that requires hard wiring a pc and/or other source. The app is hopeless and WiFi streamed sources- like Tidal simply drop out constantly. I have 175mbps download speed, a dedicated router switched to the least populated channel and nightmare connectivity with built in WiFi. Switch to Tidal desktop app over usb or aux inputs (with a wireless internet connection to the PC) and the problems vanish.
This is simply unacceptable- the enormous potential benefits of an all in one system are compromised to the detriment of the product. Bad show KEF.

One of the worst
The app looks cool but loose the speakers all the time on my WiFi!
Also I still have not figured out how to add songs when creating a playlist with the app!
I am glad they have bluetooth, otherwise I would nog be able to lay my music.
KEF needs to add AirPlay they have it on their other speakers why not this one?
Now for the good part the speakers are phenomenal, better than the passive version!

The developer is very responsive in fixing issues. Thank you for the continued support of this very important companion app.
Easy to set up?
I had just got my LS 50 Wireless and as mentioned in a lot of reviews and forums the setup process was easy as 123. However getting the app to play nice was a confusing and utter mess.
I could not get my music to play from the app which was really annoying. Kept getting a message over and over saying this song is unsupported! Ended up just using Spotify which is much better.
Kef at this price point you need to fix this!

Needs much work
App crashes when using Tidal and back space in the search bar. Also the Tidal integration is horribly laggy during play and cannot fast forward or use next track features. Painful. KEF please address these issues.
