I accepted the referral to this bank from my son because I was familiar with the name as I invest in SoFi in the stock market at times I have to say I am disappointed in the rate at which money is available to me once it’s deposited when I open the account I took the only $50 that I had in my other account to open this so that I can get the bonus not only is my money straight from my checking account not available to me until the 22nd which ends up being about six days five or six days later from the deposit electronic deposits are supposed to be faster but checks quicker than that and on top of it I don’t get my bonus for two days I am sitting here with a new bank account and all my money is tied up in it and I can’t even touch it so I’m broke if I would’ve known this is how it was gonna be I would’ve never signed up or I would’ve made sure I signed up at a time when I had back up money I never expected this. I have not had a money in years and years and years and that was because of Check.. I hope you don’t take this review lately and you take steps to consider getting peoples money cleared faster than that because this is very hard on people like me who don’t have a lot of money at all because I literally put my last $50 into that account, which is causing me to go hungry all weekend until Tuesday because I only work extreme part-tim

BEST BANK!
This is the best bank and will meet all your financial needs. It gives you insight on where your money is going and helps you to discipline yourself in your spending habits. You can track your credit score manage and maintain it. It teaches you everything you need to know about building a portfolio, investments, business, etc. IT’S YOUR ONE STOP SHOP FOR ALL YOUR BANKING AND FINANCIAL NEEDS. YOU DON’T NEED ANOTHER BANK OR ANOTHER APP WITH SoFi. I was logging into app after app trying to keep up with my credit score and monitoring it and it got to be to much and then I heard about them through the Penny Hoarder (a trusted party that is legit) and if the Penny Hoarder says something I listen because in today’s world of the internet and all the scams you can’t be to careful and I know them to be trusted in the same way that I’ve come to trust SoFi and trust me I don’t know a lot and I’m learning but I wish they would’ve been around during the pandemic or I wish I would’ve known if they were I should say because I was attacked for unemployment fraud and that changed the course of my life. It’s still not resolved destroying my credit and I’m absolutely positive had I been banking here with them they would’ve caught it..guaranteed! Could be better
This is an innovative company but it can use some more refinements: for name changes and ID verifications, these need to be easy to verify in the cases that people have a life event that requires a name change. Currently, this app does not have an in person live verification system to make sure that real people use this app to prevent fraudsters so this might be something that the company needs to think about to make sure that the people are real legit people with actual documentation that can use the app before people can legitimately invest in their offerings full on to feel better about their offers. Right now, the only way it verifies any personal info changes are via calling an 800 number. Phone calls are not really a secure way to verify personal ID and real people know never to share their social security number over the phone or in person because it is not a valid form of ID verification. The only legitimate way to prove someone is a real human being is in person ID with a government issued ID. Please do not ever ask customers for a selfie with the ID, it is tacky. If they can find a better secure ID verification that is legal legit, then this review might earn better stars. Overall, this app is great. The concern is that the few times I ordered a bank card replacement, it never arrived. They also need to provide consumers who asked for a replacement card in the mail a live tracking number to prevent mail thieves from fraudulent activity.Show lessunthethered soul
