Leave a Review Podcast App
My go to podcast app!
I switched to this app from the Apple app years ago and have never regretted it. it’s a nice, light, air design, but more than that it is super user-friendly and intuitive. I love that I can have my favorite podcasts all in one place and know who’s dropped a new one. In another view, I can see the episodes in order of release dare on all my favorites in one list, no tapping around the app to collect them one by one! The other thing I really love is that I can save episodes to listen later (just once) in a list and it auto clears them once I’ve listened to them. I can also create a playlist to listen to again and again. These guys are killing it!
If there’s a development opportunity, I would say it’s around the ability to organize podcasts within the permanent playlist, though that might be my user error. I would love to be able to reset the podcast easily – I have a Yoga playlist and I would love to have a single button “start from the beginning “option.Show lessAn Appreciation
Hi Melissa - thank you so much for your wonderful Podcast series. I appreciate that someone young and talented like you is giving her time and energy to helping to inform and empower older people who are entering a phase of life with so many issues and problems that nobody is really interested in explaining to our generation.
I’m definitely looking forward to signing up for the new Podcasts starting in September.
Thank you again for your care and your courage in tackling difficult issues.Show lessI don’t get the love
Paid for the app straight away as I hate ads and the reviews rated this so highly I thought what can go wrong.
Well certainly the things I’d want can.
The phone app is ok, I can’t get it to play the next podcast if I’m behind. It just stops.
But the real issues are when its in CarPlay mode. It’s dire.
Latest episodes don’t show the thumbnail so you don’t know what the podcast is.
And again if I want to listen to more than one podcast from the same show.
Then despite selected newest podcast at the top on the app, in CarPlay mode it only displays the oldest podcast. Not much help if there are hundreds to scroll through.
Sorry but even paying for it I’m deleting and going back to Pocket Cast.Show lessDeveloper Response
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We have forwarded your concerns regarding CarPlay integration to our Engineering team and will work on improvements to enhance the experience. As for playing the episodes continuously, you may check the options below: 1. "Favorites": When you play the first episode on the list, which is the most recently published by the podcaster, autoplay stops there. If you play older episodes, they will autoplay one after another until the latest episode is reached. 2. "Latest", "Listen Later", and "Playlists": Episodes will autoplay in sequence from the first episode in the list to the last. If you have additional questions or concerns, please send us an email at help@podcast.app and we will be happy to assist.
