If you want to tune by ear, this is your app. It emits the desired tone of tuning and its up to you to match the tone on the desired string. I recommend GuitarTuna; it's expensive but a great app. ### 4/5 — it's not exactly what it says but.. *2015-03-10* Not a automatic tuner, ya know a lot of people who have to have automatic or electric tuners instead of leaning it by ear yes you will be a little disappointed. But if you can match the tone of a electronic string to the one on an actual guitar and they sound the same then you will like the app. It does not have the arrow/needle/ dot/ what ever else there is tuning your guitar. There are free tuners that provide visual confirmation that the string is tuned.
