So far...

I’ve been using the app for about ten minutes and LOVE it—only one problem: Reaper has released new paints since the last update. There are the CAV line and an expanded MSP line. Also, it seems that the bar codes do not recognize if the original scanner was vertical instead of horizontal—this may just be that there is only one barcode image it is trying to match, but that’s something to think about (storing multiple configurations of the barcode image). I’d like an ability to submit paint as well if the app isn’t up to date. Otherwise, this is amazing so far!! Highly recommended!!

Doesn’t work

I’d really like to try it but I keep getting an error. “Failed to download color data”.
And their website doesn’t work either.

Don’t go with the other guys, this is all you need

I have had this app for less than an hour and it’s already the best (and most user friendly) color tracking app I’ve ever used. I love the way that I can keep up on what colors I already own, and that it shows all of them on one list separated by brand. There is so much this app offers! I’ve already started using it to log my current projects, which will make it so much easier to keep the colors consistent between each project. I would have gladly paid for this app if it hadn’t been free!

Best paint app ive owned and ive tried a few

This is the best paint app ive tried and owned. I look forward to supporting this project.

Hangs on opening

All this App did at first on my iPad Air 2 is hang on the open screen looking for new color data. After many attempts it finally loaded a week later. After loading it with some of my Lifecolor the database ran out at UA146 but I have 30 other colours up to AU612 which can’t be added. Will you be adding those to the paint data?

Response from developer

If it hang on opening it's most likely due to it doing the initial download of the color database. It fetches it from iCloud and it can take a bit of time on a slow or unreliable network connection. The LifeColor range has now been updated and now contains over 400 colors. The manufacturer homepage only listed up to UA146, but I found the other colors elsewhere. The new colors will arrive with the next update, due Real Soon Now.

Can’t do without this!

If you enjoy modeling of aircraft, tanks, ships, trains, etc, and have a large paint collection or need a place to note your paint requirements, this is THE app to have. Before I found this, I was in the process of logging everything I had and needed on an Excel spreadsheet. This goes far beyond a spreadsheet by providing paint chips of the color you select, giving a visual reference of the color, as well linking colors to projects, so you can identify what you need. It also includes a large list of paint collections; not just the major brands such as Vallejo, Ammo, and Testors, but many others that are not well known (to me at least).

Best of all, it is free. There is a tip jar, which I will be filling shortly, as I want this app to continue well into the future, but there is no pressure to pay for the app. No advertisements either.

Great App to keep track of all your modelling Supplies

It has a wide range of paint manufactures in its database. Including, washes, pigments, oils and primers to name a few. It's worth exploring if your into modelling and want to keep track what you have. And a convenient shopping list for ones you don't have for your next project.

Works great

I love the overview of all the colours that I own. Makes for a quick and easy lookup. Adding paints is easy and the app works perfectly. It is missing the AK Interactive Streaking products but otherwise the database seems complete.

Very handy.

This is a simple and straightforward app for keeping track of all of the Tamiya paint colors that you own and need buy. The app creator made it to help fellow modelers keep track of their paint, and offered it up for free. Nicely Done! 💥👍🏼💥
