  • Bite sized experience that doesn't overstay its welcome

SPACEPLAN reminds me of the early 1990s when CD-ROM was a new medium full of experimentation about what it meant to be a "game." This would have cost $60 back then and would require a big beige computer. It's "short," but that's okay because any longer would be tedious and overly repetitive. SPACEPLAN does what it sets out to do: tell a gently amusing story with some psychedelic visuals and some (very) light interaction. If you're hung up on the price or length, think of it as a comic book, only with music and animation.

  • Likeable but short

There is one button, but unfortunately only one linear story line.
  • Promising game, NOT WORTH $3

    I feel cheated.

Don't get me wrong, this is a fun game. The one star review is due solely to the price not matching the content. Not a true idle game, can be completed in a couple days of casual play (checking in a few times a day). For $3 and such a simple mechanic, I expected a lot more play time. The core game is promising, the narrator is well-written, but all of that is ruined by the feeling that I got scammed. I literally watched the end game cycling through the weird planets thinking, "The game can't be over yet, right?"

Simply put: Make it a 99 cent game or free until you develop content justifying the cost.

  • Great and fun app

Yes, this is basically a 3 dollar clicking app, and for that I'd expect a longer amount of play time or at least another story. For this game to really be worth 3 dollars I would suggest the devs add another story of a different planet for after you finish the first one. Basically right now, you're paying for one story with no replay ability and an extremely polished and functioning app. I mean it's fun for the first time through but unless you want to pay 3 dollars for an app that last about a day I wouldn't get it. I'll wait for the next update and see where they go with this game. They may have no future plans though.

  • Idle game finally worth playing!

I've always liked the idea of a charming idle game that I could chill with sometimes throughout the day. Every one I've downloaded, including top rated ones on the App Store, have been deleted within a couple days.

This idle "clicker" game is worth it for two reasons: 1, it's premium, so there is no built in BS paywall where it takes days to upgrade something, and 2, it actually has a story.

EDIT: from 5 stars down to 3. Why? You can beat it in less than two days. For a clicker with a couple pages of story text there really is no excuse for being this short.

  • Mostly harmless!

And quite good fun, although mine does keep throwing me out of the game when I've just come back in.

Build up power, and spuds, to increase the sun's mass, killing off the other planets in the solar system on the way. There's some real science in here, and some sci-fi, with homage to Prof S Hawking.

    A nice little time waster.

  • Great game but...

the game crashes more than it should and the Kinetigen interface is buggy where it shrinks and doesn't display the "sparks" it talks about. These are the only problems I have encountered so far but overall it's a fun game and is very beautiful in its own way. It also has a funny storyline but has some semi-repetitive gameplay. But besides that, it's $3 well spent in my book! (Note: I have an iPad mini 1)

  • Interesting… But not to shabby!

BEFORE YOU BUY THIS, YOU MUST BE INTO ATMOSPHERIC GAMES.

If not, get out now. This game starts out slow, with a nice interface and some quick witty lines, but as it continues, it kind of grows on you, and when you finally come to the end, it's marvelous (wear headphones). This game is short but think about it this way. When you go to the movies, you spend around 10$ for a ticket for a movie that only lasts maybe around 2 hours. Here, you are paying three dollars for an experience that will last you a couple days, and has also been developed by an incredibly small team, so kudos to them for creating this experience. Thanks, and I really recommend you check this out

  • Nice game

Fun game with wicked sense of humour. Spent a good amount of time on it, but the ending feels abrupt.
  • Too pricy for such a short game

Great game......GREAT GAME.......however being able to complete in less than a few days..... disappointing for the cost.
