Nice farming, crafting game with special events
I’ve been playing Funky Bay for close to 3 years and have enjoyed it immensely. It has the basic, clear land, grow crops, decorate your island and populate it with fruit trees, animals and craft buildings. There is a submarine for under water clearing/exploring, an expedition ship to bring seafood, and other islands to explore. There are also special event quests of exploring. And there is a weekly regatta for competing with other teams. So the gameplay is all very nice. The problem is, the game seems to have been put on autopilot and abandoned. There hasn’t been any new content in over a year. The max level is 100. We previously had a weekly gift of which choices were given and voted on over at the game’s Facebook page. There was a dolphin nursery, now gone. The submarine and special quest events are on a cycle. It’s all very repetitive. So while it’s a nice little fun game, I would not recommend it unless you see that it has been updated recently. As of this writing, the last update is showing as a year ago.Show lesslostclaire
More space please!
I have played Funky Bay for so long now that I can barely remember and I certainly don’t want to add up how much money I’ve spent. I keep telling myself I don’t need to spend more, but I keep doing it anyway. The only thing that I really want is more land. I was able to open new spaces when I first started playing, but that was a long time ago. There are still spots that say “coming soon”, but they have never come. I have so many trees, plots and the little buildings jammed in there that there is no room for decorations. It is actually a pain to pull things out of storage to try to spend the 10,000 coins in the events. I know it’s just a game, but I do enjoy it. I just wish I could play with decorating my island with the decorations and all that are in my storage.Show lessAirborne4191
Developers have become greedy... sad & mad
UPDATE: Somehow they’ve become more greedy ~ which I did not think possible. Planting crops cost money and are no longer doubled; the game constantly crashes, cannot get into underwater adventure or a lot of the island games. Don’t waste your time or money. Play farm bay instead. Harder game but doesn’t have the issues this one does!
I used to love ❤️ this game. I have spent a kings ransom playing. Funky Bay will not only be cut off from my pocket book, but also my time As time went on, the prizes for finishing in the top 3 of competitions became lackluster at best. No sense spending my hard earned cash for this anymore This latest update completely ruined it. They’ve ruined any point in belonging to a neighborhood. You cannot help anyone. The market used to be awesome, now you sell to the game for 1/20th of what they charge for the same item. Boat orders used to provide tools to upgrade your barn and silo. Now you must purchase them from the crappy market for gems, which you have to spend real money on, if you don’t want to wait a week to accumulate 5! Sorry Funky Bay - I have created a Farm Bay account and will spend my time & money there. You had a great concept you have managed to destroy with your greed. Shame on you! This game is getting worst each time they update. Constantly getting reset & more difficult to play. The boat no longer move forward once you send the requested items, if you move to a different location than where the dock is. The trees & shops sometimes will not allow you to click on it. You have to keep trying several area to be able to click on it. Sometimes you ended up clicking the wrong thing. The extra games continue to kick you off the game when you want to return home. You no longer get oxygen tanks when you catch the fishes. You can’t sell your goods at the maximum price and you can’t buy other players goods like you used to. Over all the game is frustrating to play and it seems like they want you to run out of things so you have to spend real money or buy what you need. You get lucky if you get 2 shrimps from the fully filled ship, yet you need shrimps to make 3 different food items, that some also required 3 shrimps to make 1 item!Show lessHang135tou

I’ve been playing this game for about 2 years, in the last 6 months the team that I was playing with almost everyone has deleted the game and are now playing Farm Bay, here’s a list of the take aways from this game -
No longer can share things with your neighbors
Items you sell in the store don’t give you the same amount of cash as if you sold it in your store
Used to get visits every half hour with Arnold who would sell you stuff now you have to wait 2 hours for new items to be sold (when they first made this change it was 5 hours)
You can still request items from your teammates, but it’s very limited in the number of items you can request and you have to wait 2 hours to request something else
Usually 2 quests going at the same time
And just recently-
Used to be able to trash 1 “tunnel” order and a new one would appear- now you have to wait 2 hours
Used to wait a few hours for a new deep sea adventure- it’s been over 2 weeks waiting for a new one
Used to be able to get more oxygen for diving when you tapped in the fish you would also get other stuff too, it’s been days since I’ve gotten any fish
So needless to say with all this I probably will join my former fellow funky Bayer’s and delete this app.Show lessNeed more neighbors very badly
Used to be fun before recent update
The game was great before an early October 2021 update. The graphics *look* better now, but everything is so slow now and the game glitches and crashes constantly. I’ve lost a ton of progress due to sudden crashes, or I’ll just come back the next day to find that everything I did the day before is undone (but none of my coins/energy spent doing that work has been returned). Every time I open the app, it crashes and will only work if I immediately try to open it again. They also changed the zoom functionality so that it’s super slow, it’s clunky to move around the map, and you can’t zoom out as much as you used to be able to. The neighborhood chat also seems to not be working/updating as it used to. Just wish they’d rollback this update so the game could go back to functioning properly. I will probably stop playing since it’s so frustrating to play now :(Show lessOctoberBatFriends
Recent update deleted my whole game 😡
I have played this game a long time. Support never responds. I sent in a trouble ticket due to it deleting my island, team, Regatta league rewards, etc. and they never responded, so I stopped playing for awhile. I had been playing again and should have known better, because while clearing items on as adventures it will take all your gems to refill energy instead of asking with pop up do you want to continue...message support no answers. I invested in their new season passes and had many decorative building transformations. For over a week there was no underwater adventure, no island adventures it just stopped in the middle of the adventure pass. The new team I was on, we all had the same issue. I log into the game today and there’s a new name and a MAJOR update that deleted my whole game as if it never existed. I wasted money and so much time it makes me sick. I will be submitting to Apple for all my purchases to be refunded! Please save yourself the hassle, because support does “0” and don’t download or play this game! New update messed things up
I’ve been playing this game for almost two years now. It’s fun and good way to kill time when you’re bored. But with the newest update they made everything more difficult. I find myself frustrated after doing things simple things like harvesting and planting crops. And now the game is sensitive that when I was trying to sell something it kept clicking off the menu. The new update also just looks bad. I have to zoom on just to see things more clearly since the new default is so far away and the dock area is really hard to see now. In short I absolutely hate this new update. I really don’t want to delete this game because I’ve had to much fun with it but if things don’t improve or better yet go back to how things were I might have to. Also for a bit of advice updates are supposed to make things better not worse!Show lessNephti23
My favorite game graphics, sad that I may not be playing this game soon
I have played many farm games. This by far was the best farm game I’ve played. For most the time I’ve played the game, there have been glitches here and there, but not so severe that I would be frustrated with game. Well, I have tried for a couple weeks to contact the app support team, and I’ve have not received help or a response with a solution. All my devices have their latest updates. There appears to be a more recent game version, I’m stuck with game version 42 and for some reason I’m not getting updates to the most recent game version of this App. I do not have any adventures I can play as usual. This has been going on for over 2 weeks. I really like this game and will be disappointed to have to stop playing it. I hope this message reaches the right person, and they can get the right people to fix this issue.Show lesselizarodz

These people are crooks. They have no problem taking your money, but if they mess up you game during their updates, you will get no help.
In March 2021, they performed market upgrades and other game enhancements that took my barn and silo from 1725 back to where it was when I first started playing the game. It cost me a significant amount of money to get the barn and silo up th where I could store my product. When told about the issue, the refused to put my barn and silo back to 1725 and offered a paltry 300 gems to make it right. They have done nothing to reimburse me for the money they’ve stolen from me.
I have filed a complaint with the CA BBB, under belkin games, which they have ignored. I can’t be the only person they’ve done this to. Anyone else experiencing this type of issue should also file with the better business bureau. If others are going through this as well, a class action law suit will be filed. These people are ridiculous and treat their customers like criminals when reporting a problem.Show lessKlvandy11
