A Lot of fun
The app is a lot of fun. The storylines are entertaining and fun. The old market had problems but the new market went to far the other way. There is no longer the ability to interact with your neighbors markets. The ability to work your neighbors needs to be returned to the game. You lose out on a lot of stuff not being able to go into the market of what other people are selling. I like the added items to the base market but the player market should have been left in the game. Also the amount you sell items for has been drastically reduced and the items in the new market are ridiculously high in comparison. I still like the games but the markets system needs fine tuned and blended between the old and new system. Pricing needs balanced as well.Show lessR33s3117
High Review numbers are OLD
This game used to be fun! Don’t be fooled by high review numbers. Those are based on information players had before the newest update. The app took away the only way to get ahead! You will NEVER be able to gather enough of anything to share, have fun, or progress anymore. This is very sad because it used to be fun. There’s no reason to have a team now. They say you can still request and trade with teammates but the truth is with the new marketplace you will RUN OUT of everything quickly. There’s no reason to join the regatta. You will not be able to collect enough to fill orders. The only reason I haven’t deleted it is because I’m really hoping they will change it back because players are absolutely livid with the new changes. I will periodically check back but sadly will not be playing very much anymore. If you’re looking for a fun game to play.....PASS on this one.Show lessblunder gut
Love this game but the market drives me crazy!
I really like this game. My only issue with it is the market place. EVERY TIME I go to the market everything is sold! It doesn’t matter if it just refreshed or not. I get it that things sell fast but when it refreshes I have the same people sometimes. The developers need to figure out a way to exclude sold things or give different people to me. When I first started the game there was an event going on and it took only 30 seconds for the market to refresh and I didn’t think it was that big of an issue because I only had to wait 30 more seconds for the market to refresh to try again. Now I have to wait ten minutes. That is way too long to long to have to wait to find out everything is sold again. If the developers can figure out how to keep the sold stuff off after a refresh at least take the time down to a more realistic time frame again.Show lessMe8288654
AWESOME game, but some things need improvement
I love this game, it’s colorful, fun, and overall just enjoyable to play. I was obsessed with paradise bay when it was still on the App Store as well, that is what urged me to download funky bay. But there are several things that really annoy me in this game. 1. It is so incredibly difficult to level up, I can spend a solid 8 hours in one day playing this game and only make it 3/4 of the way through a level (and I am only on level 29 so it shouldn’t be that difficult to level up). 2. The market always shows items that are already sold, and I almost never get to purchase anything from the market. I LOVE this game, but if it continues to be this difficult to advance in the game, I’ll have to stop playing.... Thank you for listening to my complaint.Show lessMrs duckling
It’s a good game but...
This farm style game is pretty good but does have some elements that are maddening because it is not necessary for it to happen. Case in point, the Funky Market... you click on it and the market pops up with what looks like to be an assortment of items for you to click on, BUT even if you click on them immediately, there is NOTHING to select... everything is sold! My gripe is, why don’t the developers exclude all those that have sold everything from the list display. Only include things that are actually available at the moment. Yes, I know the stuff gets picked right away, but when I click on something that has 10 minutes to go, there is literally NOTHING in all the selections at the moment I click on it. That is not realistic, and it is frustrating.
I got this response back from the developer which gives me the impression that they either don’t want to fix it, or they don’t know how to fix it...

I love the game, as long as there are no issues! The lack of support is the only reason I’m not scoring it a 5! If you have any glitches in the game, there is no support from the support desk! 3-4 months ago, you could get help, and if they couldn’t fix your issue, they would offer extra energy or something as compensation for not being able to complete in an event or not being able to complete something. Lately all you get is an automated email stating that they will be with you shortly and then you never hear from them! 3 of the last 4 issues, I never even got a response regarding my issue. This last issue that I had, I emailed about it 7 times in 7 days and they finally sent a generic email telling me to restart my game or reinstall it...I had already tried that on day 1 before I even contacted support.Show lessabspalding

I was looking for an alternative to Township which has become a money grab for Playrix exploiting long time players. I though I had found it and was enjoying it despite some minor bugs and glitches (icons like energy or milk showing up in weird places on the map, etc.). However, the most recent update had a major impact on playability, and seriously impacted my decision to invest anymore time and effort in it. After 4 days and a lot of time and effort, I was close to completing the Dino Island event. Then they released a new update. The net result is that the island has reverted back to almost the beginning with the majority unexplored, my progress of 6 out of the ice dinosaur king tasks was wiped out, but I’m still showing I’m on that task now but with no progress. It took me 4 days to get this far. With the event ending in 2 days, I basically just have to give up. Sorry, but the QA is seriously lacking and it’s just not fun to have all your effort and time wiped out every time a new release introduces even more bugs. This game is an absolute cash grab!!!! They are constantly asking for gems, but they are VERY hard to get. There is also a clam that comes and takes your gems and extra gems. And if you accidentally tap the “spend gems” button, you’re toast. There is really no confirmation button. There is an adventure button where you can go to different islands and play there, how ever you need energy. Energy is so rare, you can only play the thing for less than 3 minutes. Same with the diving adventure. And the MARKET! My family and I downloaded this thinking it would be fun to do together, but NO!! If you want to trade with a certain someone, the only way is to put it on the public market. There is no private way to trade. And the thing is, there is a possibility that some rand-o could buy the stuff before the person your trading with can see it. There is also a glitch where sometimes when I go to buy something that I am trading with a friend, it says I bought it when I never even got to see it. Fun but really glitchy
This is a fun game but it has a lot of issues...first the price of items should not go up when you level up, it’s ridiculous. Also, the time things take shouldn’t go up...lemon trees when you first get them took 2 hours and now they take 3 hours. I started the game one day with 80 gems and went back on few hours later and had 9. I didn’t buy anything so that’s really annoying. The market is also really buggy, it shows items that are already sold and at least twice a day, all that’s in the market is bananas. It’s fun but there are a lot of things they need to work on.
Edit: this game is making me super mad. It has become way more buggy. When I go into the adventures...it takes 30 seconds for things to render in and then will sometimes say I bought a bomb even though I could see anything. I am super close to just deleting the game. One good things is the developers did get back to me about my missing gems and “refunded” me the gems. As of right now, the bad is outweighing the good by a lot!Show lesscpj1007
Close, but no
I found this game really charming and fun at first but it is way out of balance and is now in the sad pile of games I no longer play.
It starts as a farms and factories game with a storyline about saving the island from somebody, but that quickly fizzled away. What began as side adventures exploring other islands now seem to be the major focus of game play. These are invariably clever and really nicely drawn, but suffer from same play 2 minutes, wait for an hour energy generation system that made me get bored with Klondike and others of that ilk.
I have stopped playing now mostly because I finally got fed up with the storage squeeze and with the excruciatingly slow pace of tools and land expansion. There are some decorations, but we don't get to play with those because every square of available space is taken up by crops, mills, animals or dead trees and bushes we can't get rid of for lack of tools. I got to where I could not collect any honey because I can't plant more flowers since the dead flowers count against the crop limit and the game never gives me shovels to get rid of them.
The persistent storage squeeze mean we cannot develop inventories of any quantity, making it impossible to fill hardly any of the timed orders. They really need to open things up and get the basic game play into a much better balance. As it is, it's pretty much unplayable unless you just want to do the explorations.Show lessBess55
