Lots of bugs, NO customer service
I love the concept of this game! However, there are many many bugs that make this game so frustrating it’s not worth investing time in anymore. The challenges are impossible to finish or to make any progress on unless you spend money for gems to clear land. There is a gem trap on the challenges in the form of a pop up box that will pop up quickly at the same time you are clearly land and suddenly you’ve accidentally clicked on this random box and lost all of the gems you’ve worked hard to collect. There is a coon trap in the store where you click on items to buy, the store takes your coins, but you never get the items. Add to it the multitude of other problems that happen on a daily basis in this game and it’s worth taking a pass on spending time with an unreliable app as this seems to be. I have contacted customer support several times for lost items on my account. I never receive any response back except a predrafted response telling me how busy they are and how updates have been made. What updates? Where? And please tell us how that is helping the issue we are coming to you about! Telling us you have made updates without resolving our losses is as good as the zero response that I have also gotten in the past from support. I loved this game at the beginning, the graphics are great compared to other games. I like the regatta task and side adventures games but there is so much that the developers can’t seem to resolve all the constant glitches. The timed adventures were fun but not anymore due to amount of energy clear areas. I have never made an in app game purchase until this game because I wanted to finish one of their adventure games, that’s how much I enjoyed this particular app. But I was charged double of what I actually purchased. Luckily, I was able to report it to Apple and was refunded. One of the most frustrating part about this game is not receiving a response when sending a bug report. I lost 100,000 coins earned from the side adventure games, reported it but only got the automated generic email response that my report was received. My other reports also went through the same process, and still no resolution. I’ve only been playing the game 2 months and will be throwing in the towel. There are too many issues.Show lessGoozed4

This game started with short growing times, and plenty of activities to keep it interesting .... I made it to level 14 in a day. Then things began to change. Items were more difficult to find...unless you want to fork out $$ .... I struggled thru level 17, focusing on the parts I enjoyed. I worked and worked to build this pyramid.....(you need to produce certain items). Finally got there...aha! Two more levels with LOTS more of the same items. THEN....I go back to the bay, where the first time the clam game came, it went quickly, and I earned lots of gems.. next time...I worked and worked to sell things to earn extra gems...get clear up to 160....$4.99 to claim them AFTER I did all that work. I have sold off everything for cheap....and will DELETE. I loved the ease of the game at first....a little challenging ...but not stressful. I just want a nice game I can go in a couple times a day and grow my property, and decorate, and enjoy. Without spending real cash. NOT THIS GAME.Show lessPrivate self
Fun but takes a long time.
This game is fun but items tend to take a long time to be made. Because of this I play game once maybe twice a day. My barn filled up immediately and I am unable to collect anything to fulfill orders. I seem to get a lot of the items needed to expand my barn storage EXCEPT for wood. That is 100% impossible to get. On top of trying to find wood to increase storage wood is needed to make surfboards so I have to choose between fulfilling an order or increasing my barn. The fun little quests that pop up have a time limit of just a few days and to clear the islands is near impossible because of the amount of energy required. Like I said the game is fun and is great to pop in real fast to set items to be made and then close the game to move on better things. Thankful I have not spent actual money on this game I won’t. Maybe the developers need to actually listen to people’s reviews. Lower the time it takes on items that are take 30min-2 hours and maybe make it so wood drops more frequently or a factory where we can make wood.Show lessLc1989

Some elements of the game might seem a bit challenging, but lots of people like it. We do follow the reviews from our players, but not always can add features and elements that people ask. I like the game but there’s a few things I would like to see change. When in neighborhoods you can only ask for items Every couple hours and it doesn’t allow you to pick how many items you need. Also, there should be a way to swap or buy from specific neighbors, by the time you go to their store to buy an item they put up for you, someone else already bought it. The regatta is cool but why can’t you do more than one task at a time? Again it takes hours to complete one task so why not be able to have several going at once. There’s too much time to just sit around waiting for products to complete. It gets boring and frustrating. Instead of having to use gems to finish producing products faster it should be coins instead. Also, takes long to level up, again frustrating and time consuming. Barn upgrades are costly too because you most often have to use gems which means your spending money to buy the gems. If that’s the case you should get at least 50 more spaces in the upgrade instead of just 15. I could go on but I’ll stop here.Show lessLouGeo39

I just started playing Funky Bay Farm about 30 minutes ago and although it is sort of being slow to start me playing (getting hang of it), I think its going to be a game I’m going to enjoy. My favorite game (TownShip) also started slow to start and I have been playing it for years and now love it. It appears that Funky Bay Farm is going to be the same way. Graphics are colorful and vivid. Fun to play. My only drawback might be if this game would begin to require “real life” money, as a lot of players are unable to afford. Like me, who is on a limited monthly disability income. Or it could be a child with an allowance. Or for whatever reason. Overall it appears to be a good, fun game that I’ll enjoy for some time.Show lessMormomMo
Super fun and generous
I really enjoy this game. It’s very similar to HayDay. The only complaint I have is that when you’re playing the side game on the islands and you collect resources, whatever energy drinks are cooking on the fire you lose when you move on to the next island and you also cannot use resources already collected and stored in your backpack. I’m not sure why anyone would spend the time and accrued energy on any island when you simply lose everything when you pass, typically you EARN things when you pass (you do receive rewards but you lose everything you collected on that island).
Milk is a tough commodity to collect and I just used four to cook energy drinks which I lost when I moved on.
I hope more people start playing - which will help with the items available in the market.

I’ve been playing this game for a month or so now, and I am addicted to it! It’s very fun, great way to pass the time. For the last week, I’ve been having problems with the app crashing. Especially when I go to the other islands. It started when I was going to “Faces of Antiquity”, when I would try to remove obstacles. Everything would get slow, and then the app would crash. I’ve made it past that island to the next one, and it’s still crashing almost every time when I try to remove obstacles, or when I try to return home. There have been a few times that I have also had it crash when I have been at my home farm. This is the only problem I have had with this game so far, but it’s making it harder and harder to play when it crashes on me dozens of times a day. I have a brand new iPhone and it is updated, so I know it has nothing to do with anything on my side. This is also the only app that I have that crashes. 😪 I would rate this a 5 if this problem was to be fixed.Show lessMassey16

This game is so fun and so addictive. I truly love the regatta challenges. Although there are two huge problems with this game. First the game is so glitchy. Kicks me out of the game and causes me to reboot it so often that it makes me scream. I would stop playing this if I wasn’t addicted to it. I have completely stop playing the great journey part of this game. Every time I log into that part of the game it immediately kicks me out. Second problem is the expeditions. The amount of product you have to put in those boxes is way more than what you get back from the expedition . Some of the product required days to prepare and it’s not worth the little bit of seafood you get which you have to do this in order to do some of the dishes. Buggy
I love this game but there are some bugs that greatly affect game play and thus I will likely delete the app.
First, when you harvest items, they don’t always show up in the silo or barn. Today I’ve harvested wheat multiple times yet still says I have none to use to make items. This is only one example of this happening. It’s happened multiple times. I emailed tech support and submitted a ticket and never heard back from them. This seems to be a common theme.
Next the store. Most of the time I can’t buy anything there because it’s already been purchased or aren’t available. What’s the point of having it if I can rarely buy items?
These are two things that greatly affect game place. I couldn’t finish the regatta task I had due to the wheat not showing up in my silo.
Finally, what’s the point of the extra events? You don’t gain anything super special from the final reward. I play a similar game where the final rewards have been things like, a pot that produces ten energy every 20 minutes, or another object that produces 30 energy like 30 times and then is left for decoration
Or to sell. So the rewards are more worth it. Here all we get are statues. Doesn’t seem worth it when you have limited space on your home bay.
I love this game but there are too many bugs and customer service is terrible and things don’t seem worth it. I’m very sad as it has much potential.Show lessNiseli12
