GPS dosnt work if the bike is turned off 🤷🏻♂️ so how do you know it’s moved 🙄

App don’t work
Have just bought a 2021 Haibike with all the bells & whistles only to find that the e connect isn’t working, it won’t connect no GPS signal. I contact the bike shop to help & they blame my connection is poor area, not good enough Haibike you need to get this sorted.
Works perfectly for me (Nov 2020)
I’ve just purchased a new Haibike in the Uk and as part of my order I wanted to add on the Haibike econnect GPS retrofit kit.
I almost didn’t because:
1. The reviews on this app were mainly negative, and;
2. There was almost no reviews of the Haibike GPS kit online.
I was very reluctant to order but the retailer assured me it would work as advertised or could be refunded, so I went ahead and added the GPS on.
I can confirm that i’ve received my bike and everything has been set up as planned. No issues with the app itself (using iphone X on latest IOS) and the app connected to the bike/GPS as expected. It easy to set up using the included card.
It’s tracking my location and is allowing me to alarm the bike as advertised. I received several notifications on my phone this morning when i moved my bike before i remembered to turn the alarm off, so that part works for sure.
I’ve also added emergency contacts in case i crash but i’ve not tested that yet and hopefully don’t plan to anytime soon.
I just wanted to leave this review in case anyone was wanting to do the same as me and was being put off by all the negative reviews.
I can’t say it will work for everyone with everything, but it works perfectly with my Haibike and the retrofit econnect kit.

Got my £6500 eBike back when it was stolen
This app/tracking system was responsible for me getting my eBike back. There are better apps for navigation but as a tracker for theft I cannot recommend it more. Thank you Haibike!
Have Haibike given up?
No updates for nearly a year suggests that Haibike have sort of given up with this app. It is far from perfect and the failure to refresh suggests that they have ditched the app and perhaps the FLYON range. I do hope not l, given the money I have spent, but see little evidence to suggest otherwise.

The app has now stopped working since iOS 14, had glitches with speed sensor, remote control and now the app, less than a year old please sort your support out

What format do you need the mobile number in. It says my number is in an incorrect format but does not say what it wants.
