Bought dashcommand then stopped supporting it

DashCommand is a great app. It has so many uses and its ability to change the dash screens per vehicle was awesome. Why y’all dropped support and stopped developing, This app is beyond me. There’s money to made here.

Save your $$

Constantly drops bluetooth. IOS app won’t accept inputs using advanced settings (ie: default engine displacement is 3.0L, I input 5.7L and it instantly goes back to 3.0L). Useless. Cannot correct for speedometer, shifting points, DC, or provide proper fuel consumption data. I get better data out of the onboard display. Just a toy for poor resolution gauges. If you’re serious about your vehicles data and logging. . . look elsewhere. I want my money and time back.

Useless.

This app is broken, because it cannot connect to any OBD2 Wifi reader (where as every other app I have connects with no problem). This app is essentially just a ripoff of DashCommand. Spend the money on DashCommand instead of struggling with this trash.

Needs update

Won’t connect to app
Has no developer support
Custom colours don’t work - you can pick a colour but not modify it or reset it
Back ground wallpaper doesn’t fill screen - it instead produces 6 images
app won’t fill screen properly IPad mini 4 - Compressed image of overall screen
Inclinometer - doesn’t roll the car in the same direction as the actual car

Doesn’t connect doesn’t offer settings

Doesn’t connect doesn’t offer settings.
It’s like it doesn’t seem to have any way to choose WiFi or Bluetooth . It seems like it may only work with a cable. But I wouldn’t spend any money chasing this dragon. Thinkcar is the one to get right now- needs to have a special dongle but at least they tell you as much!! This one nothing!! Even under the help section!! Click uninstall

Doesn’t work

I had dashcomander which is made from same people, I only got 2 weeks ago and I paid £10 and now it says it has expired ? So I tried this app and will not connect , but it worked fine on old app ? What happened to old app I don’t see on there web site either?

Struggling

Generally will connect with iPhone 7 but not iPad Air 2. Even with my iPad and Bluetooth module right next to each other it’s wont connect 9 times out of 10, then when it does, 9 times out of 10 the app won’t work across the connection and says it can’t find the connection. It also frequently won’t save my gauge layout and when first firing up the “remember my selection” for accepting the terms and conditions doesn’t work at all. The whole app is flaky and feels poorly done - I bet it’s emulated using power apps or Pega or something and not native iOS. I want this thing to work, but feels like a big waste of money

DashLink VS DashCommand

Just wondering the actual differences between these apps other than the fact that DashCommand has not been updated in a year. I assume from what I have read that DashLink requires the interface that Auto Meter sells as opposed to the several interfaces that work with DashCommand.

Metric

Hi,
Please see if we can edit the ranges the guages display. when selting metric units some of the guages do display the correct range (Temp guage) for metric units - only imperial. We need didicated metric guages OR better still would the option of modifing the range displayed on the Auto-Meter guages. Other then that a fantastic tool that works really well. Is there a way to have the guages respond a little bit faster? there is a slight lag between the actual RPM & the guage.
Thanks
