Great game

Awesome game! Just wanted to ask why I’ve downloaded the Halloween updated version but it still doesn’t come with the food truck? A but sad as I could only complete 3 stages of the food truck so far and it disappeared :(

Game is Awesome. But, rubies.

I kept on getting this ad over and over again and I was like “fine! I’ll download the game.” I THOUGHT I would delete this after 4-5 minutes because I don’t go well with cooking game their just not my type of fun. But, OMG never have I enjoyed a game this much. I was mind-blown by the game, the story, and just everything! I remember when I didn’t have rubies and the customers were saying to get upgrades and me saying “i DoNt HAvE RUBIeSs!” Now that we are done saying how great this app is, rubies. I know all the way to get rubies at the moment but, some of my quests are easy, but STILL require rubies. I have a suggestion. Either, get rubies depending on how hard the level is. Or, when you have other shops there’s a small chance to get rubies with your income. Now, depending on how long you haven’t collected your income from other shops, there’s a better chance to get rubies. That’s all I have to say this game is great overall just some stopping points. I’ve read other reviews and you guys have done such a great job! Please consider doing anything more events, gift rewards, anything! Just please let people get rubies with it. Thanks for reading my review!

Addicted!

I don’t often find games I play longer than a couple of months, I have been playing this daily for two years now! I like that there’s no ads but you can choose to watch ads to get rewards. Love it!

Favorite game for years!

I love love love time management games. I’ve downloaded my fair share over the years, but but nothing comes close to Cooking Diary. I have been playing for 3 years. So many levels, so many bonus games, i.e. food trucks, and competitions. Only ads are when you want to speed up a purchase, get more lives etc. no random ads that pop up in order to get to the next level EVER. Many in game purchases available, but you don’t have to purchase. Only if you want to! The best part is the levels are not super easy! They are not impossible by any means, and there’s so many boosters and upgrades to select from. Just need gems to purchase, and you win those by beating certain levels and participating in certain events. They are also constantly updating the app, which is great Bc there’s always new add ons, and it shows that the creators care. I am obsessed with Cooking Diary to say the least. Just wanted to take the time to thank the creators of this game, and to share how much I love it to others. If you’re still reading, don’t hesitate to download. You won’t regret it!

Going downhill

I used to love this game and it is one of the very few games where you could progress without spending. However, with every update the chance to get rubies to progress gets less and less! Daily quests are only ever in your recent restaurant, which you’re constantly stuck on because you can’t rubies from the accomplishment achievement because they’ve added insane levels in. Which even in a fully upgraded restaurant is near enough impossible! The only winner here is the greed of the app developers, sorry!

Following on from this review above.. they’ve made it easier to get gems through updated daily quests. However, In saying that, the super hard levels are just ridiculous! Even in a fully upgraded restaurant you can’t complete the levels without boosters which you can only really get though buying with gems 🤷‍♀️ you used to be able to get rubies by completing 50 levels in row.. you can barely complete 5 now without getting a Super hard restaurant.. very close to deleting as it’s lost its enjoyment

Hello Chef! We are sorry to hear you feel this way. Your feedback is important to us and we will consider it in future updates. Thank you!

Love this game!

Iv had this game for almost a year now and I really love it! There are so many levels and they bring out new updates all the time. Even though this game has what seems like never ending levels they don’t get impossible to complete. I was addicted to this game when I first downloaded it and I normally get board of games like this really quickly but the storyline kept things interesting. Even if you don’t follow the story line it’s still very entertaining! I also love my guild and the extra bonus we get working together online.

I highly recommend this game.

I edited my review and it got deleted

Probably because I was open and sincere about what I posted. I have used and used to enjoy this app for years. But with the constant and increasingly unpalatable upgrades, I find myself teetering on the edge of actual dislike. What I loved most about the game, the sights and sounds of close to real life food prep., and serving has been lost; replaced by cartoonish looking items and zero sound effects of searing or other sounds equally attached to a functioning kitchen. And what’s worse, the levels that used provide a fun and challenging gameplay experience, are now near-unplayable… unless you spend more and more money on boosters. And forget completely your buying any of the outfits- unless you want the ones that take now thousands in game bucks. If I could revert to a much earlier version of this game, I would, in a heartbeat. Happily. But as the updates are forced, that’s not an option. You’re killing your fan base, dear Developers. You seem to be chasing a younger audience, but, to what avail? In this economy, the kids you seem to be trying to woo, can’t even buy your game currency. And the hard-working parents who are struggling to live through the pandemic, certainly won’t cover those game purchases either, for their kids, or in my case, for myself. You’re ruining your creation.

Great Game being ruined by greed

I used to rate this game 5 stars and have been playing almost from release. In the early days it wasn’t made easy to win diamonds rather than pay for them but it was achievable. Now however the amount of diamonds and boosts you can win has steadily dropped, whilst ads to buy both are rammed down your throat constantly.
Also recently they have ramped up the difficulty. My guild used to win diamonds via the play 50 rounds without loosing on a daily basis. Now it’s almost impossible to do. They have also added needing to do guild quest in your most recently opened restaurant which ramps up the difficulty even more. On my latest quest it tasked me with serving 44 customers, at least half with multipart cooked orders in 1 minute 40 secs. Even with boosts I have yet to do it after nearly 100 tries. I could buy a dozen of the boost that allows you to serve 4 at once but I just don’t have the money.
When will we actually get games that aren’t pay to win.

Where is my original game

I was looking for a cooking game to play. I saw this one and said to myself let me see what it’s all about. The very first minute you start playing you start receiving notifications for buying rubies and you need rubies to progress, so I bought 50 rubies for 4.99 the very first day I started playing, I noticed while playing when you up grade an item in the store it cost rubies and coins and you have to wait several hours for it to be delivered but if you want it right away guess what it cost even more rubies to get the up grade quicker. I kept playing and I ran out of rubies but at this point I was on restaurant 2 and I purchased more rubies this time for 9.99 and it did it so I wasn’t able to get the rubies all at once but 50 at first and then 20 rubies each day I logged in until the last day where I would receive the last 50 rubies in total I should get 260 rubies but I never got to the end. I loaded up the game it said I could collect another 20, I did and then the game crashed, I loaded it back up again and it played as if I had just downloaded the game for the very first time. I could not believe all my money I had spent on this game in two days had gone just like that down the drain. I am very disappointed, I play another cooking game and I have never had this problem before.
