Great App

I was recommended this app when I attended a ‘skin school’ run by MacMillan, as I have sooo many moles I couldn’t tell if I got a new one.

I love the comparison photos, and the fact you can take one of your whole body or focus on a particular mole.

Not sure how easy this would be but it would be great if it could have a built in ruler feature for the photos as depending on the distance you take the photo from the mole obviously distorts the size.

Upload photo option missing

Wish we could add photo of medical cards from our photos on our phone.

Hi Thank you for writing in with your review. With a premium subscription it is possible to upload photos from your Photos app on your iPhone. On the in-app camera, simply choose the import icon on the top of the screen instead of taking the photo directly with the app. If you have any questions about this or anything else, please don't hesitate to write to Miiskin Support on support@miiskin.com. Login for free subscription doesn’t work

When you sign up with your email, you’re sent an email asking you to press a button and then open the app which just tells you to log in again, then sends you another email 🙄 I got frustrated and deleted the app. For an app that’s supposed to help you determine if you have a cancerous mole - I find it ridiculously overpriced and poorly executed.

Photo App

Could have done this with my normal iPhone phone. There is no magic algorithmical mole analyser, you have to take photos at regular periods and decide yourself if the mole is growing or dangerous? Good luck with that!

Hi You are definitely correct that there's no magical AI mole analyser. We strongly advice against relying on services like that. If you need any particular mole assessed it's better to get in touch with a doctor. Instead Miiskin is as you say an app that facilitates a process of monitoring moles and overall skin, which we however in turn have created many features to support. Kind regards, Daniel T. SCAM app, tries to automatically bill you MULTIPLE times!

Please do NOT download and use this app. I launched it and saw when it asked if I wanted the free month trial and then be charged monthly after that I did not want to commit to a trial so o just closed the app and then MULTIPLE charges shows up on my credit card associated with my Apple account. There were multiple $9.99 charges and then multiple $5.55 charges!

Hi I'm really sorry to hear you've had a bad experience. The subscriptions in the app work like subscriptions in any other App Store app. We use Apple's own subscription system, where a free trial is converted into a paid subscription after the free trial period. This is the way any app with a free trial subscription works in the App Store. Apple sends out reminders to the email address you have registered with on your App Store account before any charges are made. The charges you are referring to, however, does not sound like the problem occurred with the Miiskin app. We don't have any subscriptions priced like that and the app is definitely not set up to charge multiple times. Please contact us on support@miiskin.com and we will help you investigate what has gone wrong. Is it the App Store system and not the app itself that is in charge of billing, so something must have gone wrong with the App Store billing. Like It So Far!

I have a lot of moles all over my body, so I need a good way to keep track of them. I have been disappointed by a lot of the free apps, many of which seem to have design flaws that never get fixed, or they just get abandoned altogether after a few updates. I finally decided to subscribe to Miiskin this week in the hope that paying for an app will actually help it continue to improve over the long term. I figure the subscription is about as much as the copay for my dermatologist, so it’s not too bad. And as I have explored the app, I have been really pleased. There are a lot of useful features and they seem to work. I really like having the ability to import older pictures, and to add notes to all the photos. The photo taking interface is easy to use, and the pictures are really clear. The pin protection feature for the photos is a good safeguard. And the process for exporting photos seems to be easy, too. I hope the app continues to improve, though. Automated views from the left and right sides, and perhaps other hard to reach areas, would be great - I have a lot of moles that aren’t visible in typical front and back views. And I would be really glad to have something like the automatic face tracking feature that worked on any part of the body where there was a skin problem. Overall, I would recommend it to anyone with lots and lots of moles.
