Mike sizing not working!
Response from developer
UPDATE: Hi We've now released an update to the app that makes Mole Sizing work again. Please update to 1.68.1 (This will usually happen over the next couple of days with Auto Update unless you've disabled that.) You can also update the app manually here in the App Store App. Sorry about the inconvenience that this has caused and thank you for notifying us about it. Kind regards Daniel Hi I'm really sorry to hear that it doesn't work. We have now identified that this seems to be caused by Apple's iOS15 update for users with iPhone 12 and iPhone 13 models. We are working hard to find a solution. I apologize for the inconvenience that this causes. I will update you as soon as it is working again. It has our full attention. Sincerely, Daniel T. Almost helpful
• The full body scan only uses the wide angle lens on my iPhone which tends to distort my body shape, just a personal irk but it makes me not want to use that feature at all. Also it seems like there is a way more robust alternative waiting to be made using photogrammetry instead of just a single front and back snap where you look like a frog being held against its will in a cardboard box.
• Getting consistent lighting and remembering those angles and distances and position is a nightmare if you have more than a handful of moles to rescan. That’s why a professional setup has a hand held unit, seperate from a screen, with a built in light and transparent plastic end part that keeps everything uniform, that’s impossible with a smart phone.
• You cannot easily reposition the dots on the human model after you add them. It only becomes apparent how out of proportion some moles are after you’ve added a few.
• Seems obvious but I’ll say it. You need someone who can do your back for snapping closeups of moles. But another person for doing any of the closeups is almost always needed
• With AR being what it is, it seems primitive that they only offer a “coin” option to measure size. Did they not consider a ruler would actually be a lot more uniformly accessible across different regions? Or have some feature where you just point the camera at your chosen object to measure it as a reference using front facing sensors and camera. I personally only like using my debit or credit card. So I hate keeping change.
I really wanted this app to work, but there is so much it has to fight with to work properly. If you have two or three moles to track It’ll do that great, but anymore and it’s a nightmare.

Hi Thank you for writing in with your in-depth feedback although I am sorry to hear that overall the app didn't live up to your expectations. We'll be sure to take your feedback into account as we continue to work on the app and hopefully in the future it will be helpful to you. If you are willing to give the app a second try in the near-term please write to support@miiskin.com to let us know what it would require, as a minimum, for you to find the app useful enough to use and we will see if we can address those things specifically. Hope to hear from you. Kind regards, Daniel T. Miiskin Support

Hi Cancelling your subscription can easily be done right on your iPhone. You can find instructions right here: https://support.apple.com/da-dk/HT202039 If you wish you can also contact us on support@miiskin.com or from the support function in the app for any further help and guidance. Add a tick check option?
Can you add that possibly?
Charging to help keep me cancer free?
Insanely Overpriced
I love the idea here. A well designed app to promote skin health and track our moles? Yes please!
For $6.99/mo? No thanks. Even if a portion goes to the Canadian skin cancer foundation this is bonkers money for the functionality provided here.
$1.99/mo and I would’ve signed up years ago.
Come on. Be reasonable and help people monitor their skin and promote good health!
Response from developer
Hi I'm sorry to hear that the current monthly pricing is not right for you. Please note that on top of donations to the Canadian Skin Cancer Foundation, we also pay value added tax and a platform contribution to Apple, but we will be sure to take your feedback into consideration and we are also working on new ways of making skin checking more affordable and available to more users. Have you considered the yearly plan of Miiskin Premium? It costs $30.99 pr year, which is then $2.58/mo - not far from the 1.99/mo you would like to pay? Kind regards, Daniel T. Miiskin Support
Ray’s mole
Good but keeps nagging for review
Response from developer
Hi I'm sorry to hear that the app is nagging you for a review after every photo. This is definitely not as intended and we will look into solving this as soon as possible. Kind regards, Daniel T. Miiskin Support
