Pros: I love how easy it is to list an item for sale. Literally can post several items in just minutes. I enjoy getting the feedback when someone favors one of my items. Cons: Immensely dislike that I am asked to offer a discount on my items when someone favors one. So either I mark up my item in order to mark it down, or post it as my real price and not offer discounts. Why can’t I just post a fair price and not be asked to offer a discount? Low ball offers, why do they allow annoying low ball offers to be submitted? Charges, 10% plus a cc processing fee is a bit excessive. Wouldn’t mind it as much if I wasn’t constantly asked to offer a lower price, or got constant low ball offers. Given all of that, I have managed to move quite a bit of items on Sideline. With a few smart improvements it could be the best selling site around. They also just added a charge if your promoted item sells. Talk about double dipping! They charge us to promote the item and now an up charge when it sells. Not the positive changes I spoke about. Please fix this ASAP.

Lots of items to choose from.
App works great. It feels quite secure. It's a shame shipping rates are quite high. Those don't seem to be negotiable.
Fees are getting expensive
SidelineSwap is a great site to sell items, the fees seem to continue to increase and passing the processing fee to the seller makes it less attractive to sell items on the site.
Need to price in Canadian funds
My seller was in Ontario and I am in Alberta. Why are we paying in US dollars? We are getting ripped off with the exchange rates the banks charge. If the seller is in Canada keep it in Canadian funds

With 2 kids in travel sports and still playing hockey myself at 41 it’s quite difficult to constantly go to the store to buy new gear. My son as a goalie gets a new set of pads just about every season he’s growing so fast. Not to many ice hockey equipment stores down here in South Florida that have a wide variety of equipment available like this app does. There are always great deals on here you just have to know what you want and how much your willing to spend. If you keep digging and know how to navigate the app you can really get amazing deals on new equipment that people just didnt work for them and want to unload it. My family is always wearing the best gear to protect them and I’m not eating hot dog flavored soup doing so.
