lack of clear directions

The directions are extremely vague to nonexistent. If I did not call my claims rep 3 times, I would not have been able to to complete the process. If there were clear directions, the process would have been quick and easy rather than as frustrating as I found it. Those of us who grew up before the use of modern tech devices were accustomed to clear instructions. Today, as with a new tech device, it is just assumed that we will figure it out by trial and error. That isn’t the way we learned to approach tasks or that I, as a teacher, taught my students. I have now tried 10 nicknames and am thinking that this whole process is a nightmare

I did their work

Though the process it seemed I was doing the work of the adjuster. Maybe all companies do this. The app was fairly easy to use, even for a novice. A brief paragraph before beginning would have been handy to be sure I had plenty of clearance and light for pics , and that multiple pics of various damage could be shown after the initial photo was taken. I wasn’t sure I’d had multiple opportunities to show more damage.

CCC app

The link sent to me couple of time but I ignored because I am not confident with any high tech things . But when it’s part of the claims and the insurance encouraged me that the app with tell you step by step, I think I should try my best. I liked it very much and WOW, so impressed that how easy and clear instructions!! 👍👍👍

Experience

Unfortunately I’ve had to make two claims with Farmers - one was just a tow and the other was for damages I caused in a minor accident. On both occasions I dealt with some really nice, knowledgeable people who moved things along WAY more efficiently than I would have expected. Maybe this is the new standard but whatever the case, this process couldn’t have been simpler. I literally almost feel bad that I’m making the claim.....almost. 😊

This App is Easy!

This app is easy! As somebody who is not very techie I was a bit reluctant to download an app to try and make a claim, but I wasn’t sure how convenient trying to get to an estimator would be either working 10 hour days. This app made it so simple, and it literally took only a few minutes start to finish!

Easy to use

The app is easy to use. Amica thought of everything. Pics from all the angles, scanning in of essential information. I’m not sure that pictures can replace an in person adjustment but we’d see when I get my quote to fix it compared to what it costs to fix my car.

Don’t Like It

I’m old and I’m used to having an agent come see my car, take pictures and pretty much do what I pay insurance FOR. This app kept saying my pictures were blurry. I only have my phone camera. I must have taken each picture ten times before I ignored the messsage and just clicked accept. It does NOT allow you to upload pictures from your phone already taken of the damage which is stupid. It also asks for a video. There are no instructions as to whether you are supposed to SAY anything as you take the video. It also only allows a few seconds. Since the damage to my car extended across the whole frontI found I had to hurry to go from one side to the other. It does what my insurance company requires so I have it two stars. But I do not like the app.

DiSanza Lincoln Damage

App is easy to use. My care was in the garage. So, my want to inform the user to pull the car out of the garage prior to start the process. If not, the use may not be able to take the requested photos do to item in the way or not enough distance between the user and the car.

Easy to use

Very user friendly. One problem in the submission process is that uploading with a video is too slow. It appeared to stop at 24%. I ended up deleting the video in order to complete the submission. Possible upgrade would be to allow the user to deselect video object for initial submission, rather than forcing the user to delete it. Then let the user attempt resubmission of video object only - assuming resubmission would not overlay previously submitted objects.

When screen times out information is lost

I like that it guides you to take pictures and lets you upload a video. I feel like there should be a multiple video function. As I’m looking at the car to write my description, when I took too long and my screen timed out, the whole description I already wrote is gone and I have to write it all over again. It happened multiple times which is frustrating.
