  • Very disappointing

    This app is so bad. Every time I order some food, it takes hours to be delivered. 👎 Never gonna use it again.

  • Orders canceled twice

    I installed this app on two different occasions, and both times my orders were cancelled because the restaurants did not confirm the orders within the time frame that Fantuan set. So instead of contacting the restaurants about the orders (like other food delivery apps), they just went ahead and canceled it, not to mention their refund process takes up to 15 days. So in short, ordered my food, got excited about the meal, food got canceled, and money missing from the account for some times.
    Ridiculous app, expensive fees and delivery, bad experience. Uninstalled and will never use again.

  • Extremely unpleasant ordering experience

    I placed an order for a family member. 30 mins later I tried to check status of the food but it showed I need to pay another 4 dollars and change or my order is canceled. I couldn’t help wondering if I didn’t check the app the order would just be canceled? I called the restaurant to confirm the lady said Fan Tuan didn’t update their menu price? She needed to charge extra because they increased the price? How is this my problem as a customer? The order was for a family member who’s home alone for Chinese new year, I didn’t want to deal with any complications so I told her fine I’ll pay, but someone should have contacted me. I quickly paid and called them back to make sure everything is ok now. The lady was extremely rude and said I told you why you needed to pay extra. I said I’m calling to confirm the order is good to go….. Fantuan didn’t update their pricing and I inquired and the employee took it out on me? I’m deleting the app and will share my experience with my family and friends

  • Unfatisfied with refund process

    I ordered 3 items, but got 2 cakes, no milk tea. Then they just refund a half price for me, with reason from my coupon used, unsatisfied. This is mistake from courier, restautant, not from customer right?

  • Bad customer experience from Fantuan comparing with others

    1. Fantuan App “cheated” me to purchase/subscribe to their monthly membership by showing me there is a coupon to use for discount (this App used to show promo coupons from restaurants from time to time but they never had anything to do with their membership) - once I clicked on it, it automatically charged me the subscription fee and put me in auto charges monthly (and I tried to reverted it).

    2. My previous order was cancelled due to no response from the restaurant - I was ordering my meal in a rush due to personal reasons and this just wasted me another 15 minutes, I haven’t met issue like this from other services (ordered cancelled due to restaurant inactivity) and it will take Fantuan 1 - 15 days for a refund, which does not make any sense to me!

  • 2 Hour Delivery time! Terrible App Design ! No stores to choose from !

    The app have no payment confirmations, I had accidentally touched the massive payment button on the app, a order was sent out without my consent, I had called to cancel minutes after the order and was not it could not be canceled.

    I had asked to pick up the food myself, however I was too denied, because the wait time for an order there was over 2 hours.

    0/10 would not recommend.

  • Terrible and confusing services

    My order to have someone pick up my cake and delivered to me was canceled by Fantuan twice with no reason. The customer service called me with no explanation and told me I have to cancel my order simply because Fantuan can’t work with this cake shop!? While the cake shop told me that all their customers use Fantuan to pick up the order from the shop. The customer service spoke with no sympathy nor an attitude to try to solve my problem. All he said was my order cannot be delivered and I HAVE to cancel the order. There was a sense that he did not even listen to my concern but only wanted to cancel my order and get it over with. Note that I put down the order in the morning, which leaves Fantuan plenty of time to inform me on how they cannot work with the cake shop(if this even is a valid reason). But customer service only called in when my order is supposed to be delivered to me, leaving me no time to find a plan b to get my item delivered. After I was forced to cancel my order I tried to dispute it but the app gave to no option to connect to a customer service line. In general there was zero communication and zero customer service. If Fantuan thinks that they are the only Asian delivery app and can do whatever then they are absolutely wrong.

  • Credit card and personal information was stolen

    I tried to order food from this app but it kept telling me that it ran into an error processing my card information. The next day I had an unauthorized $199 charge on my credit card for an online service I’ve never even heard of. I had to cancel my card and issue a fraud claim. I’ve seen other reviews mention unauthorized charges as well. They’re definitely either selling users’ personal information or there are no security measures on the information you provide them and any employee can probably access all your personal details. PLEASE BEWARE!!

    EDIT: I just got another spam text from an unknown phone number in Chinese; this has been happening about once or twice every few days since I used this app. The fact that both my phone number and credit card were compromised right after using this app leads me to believe that was in fact the source of the compromise. Also one of the scam texts included my name the way I input it on the app, not my full name but my nickname. It is highly possible that either the company or one of their employees is actively selling user information to scammers. I have also seen other reviews mentioning a similar experience so if you experience the same please report them to protect others from also having their info stolen.

  • Terrible customer service! 客人服務線很差!

    I didn’t receive my coupons for the new account thing, so I rang up CS. CS operator spoke to me in Chinese even when I pressed 1 for English, then asked if I could speak Chinese as well. She then put me on hold to connect me to the English CS, and when the English CS picked up, it was still the same operator! Just speaking in below standard English this time! All she did was apologize and made up gibberish reasoning that didn’t make sense for why they can’t refund my coupons. I demand compensation or at the very least, my coupons back!!!

    我是今天下載這個Apps,但是沒有收到新開帳戶的優惠券。所以我就打了電話給他們的客人服務線。我中文是不好的所以我就按了1(英文),接線員一拿起電話就跟我說中文,我用英文回答她,她還問我可不可以說中文。離譜吧!她然後就接通了我給會說英文的接線員。會說英文的接線員一聽電話,就發現還是她。她後來還說一大段九唔搭八的原因,說不可以給回優惠券給我。真的是浪費我的時間,給不回就早一點說啦!真生氣。快點還回我的優惠券給我!還不到的話就賠償!
