  • Stupid App

    Don’t allow customers to enter until they update the app. Even though the update is meaningless to customers! Why’d you do that stupid setting???
  • All the food is raw!

    NEVER gonna use this again!!! I lived in hotel yesterday and it was pretty late. I decided to order something for late night meal. I chose a restaurant named with some chuanchuan hotpot. The food on the menu looks so good and I put a order over $100. After a hard waiting, with me and my friends starving to death, the order arrived, with all the food RAW! I was so hungry and disappointed but I still want to check if it is my mistake to ignore the description. I spent ten minutes double checked the menu and there is no where saying the food will come unprocessed and there isn’t even any word meaning RAW in the entire menu. I went to the customer service and they just says the picture shows raw food and you should know that you will receive raw food. And they just kept copy and pasting the same word while I was trying to explain to them what a regular man would think. Am I too dumb to use a modern software like this or adding a description saying the food will come raw is too hard for programming?

  • There’s a bug where you can’t scroll down

    In the shopping cart page where you can edit the amount of items, I can’t seem to scroll down the page. Please fix this…
  • Fantuan pretends they have corporations with some restaurants when they actually don’t

    I ordered dumplings from a Chinese restaurant on Fantuan, but the driver told me that he was one who actually paid for the order when he picked it up from restaurant. So I called the restaurant trying to figure out what happened, and the restaurant told me that Fantuan doesn’t have any relationship with them. So the trick of Fantuan is to ask the driver to pay for the order, which is less than the money I paid on the app; then Fantuan takes some of the money I paid and sends rest of the money to the driver.
    Seems like Fantuan really loves the money for free 😅

  • same low service quality as other chinese delivery apps

    I thought it would be different from easi and panda, but the same situation happens. the delivery drive would take your order, deliver all the closest ones and ignoring your order until it’s almost due time. I ordered 4 times, one got canceled, two were an hour late.

    customer service just copy and pastes, don’t really help you.

    I’ll stick with uber eats and door dash I guess. Shame most Chinese restaurants won’t be on these apps.

  • Unreliable drivers

    Order took 2 hours to arrive. Driver disappeared once…
  • Don’t fall for it. Price scams!

    Prices falsely advertised at 30% off. On checkout however, they sneakily add in hidden charges. A meal which costs £36 with implied discount was charged at £47! Fake, unethical, deceptive. Customer service is rubbish and completely inept. Avoid like the plague!
  • Forced tipping AND servive fee.

    I dont think foreigners who come to a different country understand some of the finer cultural differences here....and now making an app/service to exploit it.

    Tipping isnt a mandatory action, it's optional. You want to make it mandatory? Then it's called a service fee. For you to charge a mandatory service fee + mandatory tipping, that's called robbery. A basterization of a western cultural practice that was meant to be a nice gesture. This app is actively exploiting this practice.

  • I’m not sure this even works. Also, Bad service, Even Worse App

    I’ve tried to order 7 times and only succeeded once. Nearly every time the order is unconfirmed by the vendor then auto-cancelled. Twice, I called the vendors who either 1) have never heard of Fantuan (!!) or 2) have asked to be removed from Fantuan but their request was not granted. This company is ripe for being sued. They also keep giving me coupons every time an order is cancelled but I still cannot use them because I can’t find a vendor who is actually using this platform. That’s just insane.

    The app is god awful. Impossible to search by delivery. It includes all options, or you can filter by pickup, but deselecting/toggling pickup does not filter for delivery. I’m extremely central in SF and there are no delivery drivers in this area DURING LUNCH TIME. That seems absurd. Their “coupons” are also impossible to use. I used quotes because they aren’t real coupons and are actually a gimmick. I make an order which meets all fine print but the coupon is greyed out and unable to be selected. All this wasted time compiling the order, I’m inclined to order anyways. Gimmick! Unfortunate because growing up in LA/SGV/Rowland heights, I absolutely love this concept. Execution is offensive to Asians everywhere. Hope it doesn’t give us a bad reputation.

  • Deceptive advertisement

    Staff working for this company told me there are a lot of restaurants can deliver to my region. I live in zone one London, but actually nothing’s available.
