Unreliable and inaccurate trip info
My flights have been retimed twice since I bought my tickets with the most recent update being nearly a month ago. My trips on the app doesn't show correct flight times. If Malaysia Airlines can't provide accurate flight info for their own flights, who can?
Dumb
It does not detect your check in status if you checked in through its website. Not able to install card to Wallet
Only the basic features
Canโt even change currency while searching for flights, basically useless when you are outside your home country. Good that enrich miles are shown, but you canโt do anything with it.
Superb customer-centric website
I am impressed. It has taken an awfully long time but finally, Malaysian has pulled it off with a really good and intuitive website that should be the envy of its competitors
Only a single class of travel?
I downloaded this App to try and book some flights to KL. I was surprised by the low average rating on the App store. But I realised this is obviously a justified rating as when trying to search for flights it only gives me the option of seeing ticket prices in one class of travel.
Simple and sound
Malaysia airlines have come a long way and has improved their app. Have been able to book several flights and have had no issues whatsoever.
Cannot find flight
The last update is very bad. Canโt find flight and keep getting invalid number when searching.
Has become useless
A few weeks ago I booked a trip to HCMC for my son and I and flights from SARAWAK to KL for my in-laws. Now I a, unable to book any flights since I need to validate my credit/debit card in my Profile, since there is no provision for adding or updating card details this is impossible to do.
I have been loyal to MAS for more than 20 years, to the surprise of my Malaysian friends and colleagues but it is hard!
This app has become completely useless!

No boarding pass
Can't even load e-boarding pass on this app. Way behind most airline app. Very disappointing
Very poor app
This is the worst airline app I have ever used.
Due to fly business class from Sydney to KL, then KL to London
App will only let me check in for first leg.
Says that I must check in for second leg at airport.
Boarding passes are not compatible with Apple wallet and thus can only be saved as pdf files, for some reason
The developers of this app need to get real and look at some of the other apps out there
A good example being the EasyJet (UK) app which is a credit to the airline.
The Malaysia app quite frankly
Is a pile of junk and should be removed until the developers learn how to write a proper app!!
