A great resource. Lots of lovely information about different areas of Hackney over the years. I never knew about the "three penny doctor" Dr Jelley, or the lost island, or the street battles between Mosley's blackshirts and the anti-fascist Jewish commandoes โ all here on the streets of Hackney!
