Cannot login to app
Can login to their website, but when trying to login to the app, claims “no user associated to this email” (or something similar to that effect).
Created a support ticket, but have had no response in a week.
I don’t understand why you need to login to hook up their devises to the app. That’s poor design.

Near Unusable
This is NOT a review of the Wynd purifier. I LOVE the device and rate it 5/5 for functionality. This app gets a 1/5 only because I can’t rate it 0. It is literally unusable in that the app crashes every time I try to open it
Must create an account immediately
Ultimately, this device is a fan with a filter and an air quality sensor. All of these functions work without the companion app already, so why do I need an account just to check the value of the air quality sensor?
Also, the only options are to create an account with an email directly or to log in with Facebook. Where is Sign In With Apple support?

Response from developer
An account is needed in order for you to be able to access the historical data from your Tracker in the future. We are currently working on our Sign In With Apple support, which will be released in a future update. If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact us via support@hellowynd.com
Broken App
Can’t get past the login/signup page. This app is plain old broken. 0 stars.
Problems connecting app
Despite multiple (dozens) of tries unable to connect or unstable connection to app from device. Buggy app needs to be fixed
Unable to allow Bluetooth access and pair
The new app is awful. Doesn’t allow us to pair devices anymore and keeps being stuck on an allow Bluetooth access when it is clearly allowed in my settings.
Terrible product
The technology is horrible. Save the money and buy a normal air cleaner you use manually. Use Awair as an alternative with your own air cleaner. Way cheaper and will actually work.
As of 4 Aug 20, App Doesn’t Work
Opened App, had to reset password, not a big deal. However now the app screen goes completely black once logged in making it worthless. I’m using an Apple device. The app was working and had some syncing issues. Now it’s a black screen.
Halos never stay connected
Essentially useless. I have two halos and two purifiers. The halos don’t remain connected and require to be reset. This has gotten to the point that they won’t stay connected to the network for longer than five minutes. What’s the point? App won’t show history of readings anymore. Not ready for primetime. Stay away.

Won’t pair / sound will drive you nuts
Stuck on “Connecting to Wynd cloud”, tried on multiple networks.
Update: got it to work for awhile (by deleting the app and starting over), but then it lost the connection. Meanwhile the device is unusable because of the whine. I compared the spectrum of the whine with human speech and there’s a pretty heavy overlap, which might explain why this is the most annoying device sound I’ve ever heard. The fact that it doesn’t stay steady at one pitch, but sort of randomly drifts up and down, could also be a clue about why it’s so hard to tune out.
So for now, if I suspect an air issue I sometime turn the Wynd on for a few minutes, get the reading, and turn it off. It’s just not usable as an always-on device. Will switch to a competitor once I’m back at that budget point.

Response from developer
Hi Chris, thank you for bringing this to our attention. We have forwarded this to the iOS developer and hope to have a fix for this bug very soon.
