  • Seems accurate

I’ve used this for “a minute” now. I’ve tested it against my wife’s paid BP app and tested (just once) against the doctors office. It was 2 off. I gave it 3 stars because real app reviewers know to only look at 3 star reviews.
  • A reliable way of checking your pulse!

Only one grumble - your pulse history isn't transferred when you upgrade to the Pro version. A separate app appears on your home screen, so you can either keep or delete the Lite version as you wish.
  • Most accurate

I love the interface. If there was a way to import my saved data/ history from the free version it would be 5 stars.
  • Have difficulty using

    A little hard to use.
  • Great app until iPhone’s triple camera design.

Had used this app nicely following heart attack. Unfortunately since upgrading to the new iPhone 12 Pro Max with triple camera / flash, I can no longer use it as the phone design doesn’t allow it. Seems like the same finger is needed in both the camera and flash, which of course can’t be possible.

Tried more than one finger or the palm etc, it just won’t cut it. I would presume any health app using the same sensor would suffer the same issue now.

Unless there’s a way around it I am not aware of maybe.

  • New customer

Just need to learn about it. But looks good
  • A good usable app

I wrote a review the other week because the camera light was not always coming on, but after switching the iPhone 7+ off and back on it’s been working ok.
It would still be nice to side scroll the graph though.
After further use of this app the camera light it still very intermittent to whether it comes on or not which gets frustratingly annoying which is bound to up your pulse rate. It’s about time this problem was fixed.

  • Great App

I love the constant output during the test. I do have a couple of recommendations that would help this app be more helpful to people with heart rythym disorders. First, it would be nice to be able to set the duration of the test. For me, I found that it Monitored too quickly. Second, if you could introduce a playback option to see the Heartrate fluctuations for Afib.

  • Awesome app.

I was in hospital after heart attack. I downloaded this app and compared it to my monitor. 9 out of 10 times it was either right on or 1 beat different. Other heartbeat apps were more the 5-10 beats off. I went with Pro version. Best 1.99 I spent in awhile.
  • Great app does exactly what it says it does

Really like the app, as someone who has heart issues from open heart surfers twice to change my mitral valve I suffer with arrhythmias, although this won’t give you an exact measurement it is pretty close and a good average can be worked out, or you can count the beats out your self with the clock or timer to verify how close the app is, I find the graph particularly handy especially when I see my Cardiologist, it gives him an insight in to the condition weather my heart is getting worse or not.
All in all it’s a great app for a phone bp monitor, don’t be expecting it to give you reading like in hospital or at your GP surgery because it won’t be exact like them, but considering it’s free and always within a few beats higher or lower it’s a great app and recommend this particular app if this is what your looking for.
