Buyer beware

Just like all the other reviews above… this is the absolute worst app i have ever used in my lifetime. There are constant problems of various degree. Technology has clearly passed by the company & people who have created & operate this App. After reading this review, if you still choose to purchase the mighty mule w/ the intention of using this App on a daily basis, you get all the stress, headaches, and frustrations you deserve. That being said, the customer service is even worse than the App itself. If this was a brick & mortar building that customers could walk into and voice their issues, concerns, & frustrations.. it would have been burned to the ground by its own customers by now. I didnt give this App a star rating because negative stars isnt an option. As we speak right now i have animals on my property back home that cant get the food & water they need because my farm handlers cant get access to my property. They had to cut my fence to gain access and bring provisions to my animals. I would literally sue this company if i thought it was worthwhile of my time & money.

Would be great if it worked like it’s supposed to

This is the glitchiest gate/app I have ever used. We constantly have issues with the gate being ‘offline’ when it’s not. Unless you want to just use the remote (which sometimes will only work RIGHT next to the box), this is very unreliable. Super inconvenient when you can’t get in or out of your own driveway because the gate will not open.
And if it’s a windy day be prepared for countless errors, having to manually open because the gate app becomes useless at that point.

Will come back and change my review if it ends up getting any better…

please update this app, for the love of god

back story: i have been in my house for 4 years and only recently figured out that i could even connect my garage door to the wifi. occasionally, we will come out to the garage and find the door open partially or the whole way. decided this app would be helpful so we could know when it opens and close it remotely from inside or when we are away from the house. it worked perfectly for about a week. all of a sudden, in the middle of the day yesterday, it stopped sending me notifications altogether. it worked in the morning before i left for work. why?! nothing changed between then and about 3pm while i was still at work. i tried to sign out and sign back in, no good. i tried to delete and redownload the app, no good. this doesn’t make any sense! please update this app. these problems shouldn’t be happening.

Needs new technology

I use this app strictly to open 1 light weight aluminum gate. I always update the app when updates are available. However, every time I use it, I can’t use it again until I completely close out of the app and reopen. I have this app on an iPhone13 Pro and my spouse has an iPhone11. This app does it on BOTH phones. It’s very frustrating to have to completely close out of the app in order to reuse it again 10 minutes later. In addition, this app doesn’t support automatic events for gate openers. It would be great if the technology could be updated to resolve both of these issues! If I had known these drawbacks upfront I would have selected a different brand of opener.

Works Good

We use the WiFi adapter which is about 1200’ away, every once in a while it will loose connection but otherwise it works great. Only thing I would like to see is the ability to choose which users receive notifications, we have users that need access but I don’t like them to know every time we open and shut the gate.

Disappointed

I was hoping this would work as described, particularly the automatic events and geo triggers. I can’t even create an automatic event.??? The option is there but the app won’t let me do it. The option doesn’t even pop up for a geo trigger. This was pretty much why I bought this opener. Two gate opener came with a one gate control box…disappointing. Customer service sent a new one promptly. Correcting the mistake seems to be the only thing that has gone right.

Works When It Wants To

The biggest issue is the lack of troubleshooting documentation. It only cares about the bridge. What about errors/warnings/no idea in the app. Icons that mean nothing. Information button that shows more unreadable or indecipherable icons. No in app troubleshooting or documentation.
It has worked pretty well for the past few months except the past few weeks. Gate won’t open, no beeps, no info in app to say why. I’ve got the MM372W. The gate opener is a different story.

Guests should not have the ability to change transmitter power.

Works mostly as advertised. Not the most reliable app. The largest problem is everyone with access has the ability to change the transmitter power to the station in the house which only the owner (admin) should have the ability to change.

Ok, but buggy

App won’t allow edit or changes. Tried to delete member invitations and start over. Nice presentation but overall poor testing.

Geofencing options not working.

Garage door opening by itself

I haven’t had the same problems as other people getting the app to connect, however, the app randomly opens the garage door when I’m not even touching my phone and don’t have the app opened. This is obviously a big security issue if the garage opens by itself when I’m not home, allowing anyone from the neighborhood to just wander on in there. I had to set up a Wyze camera in the garage to notify me of any motion.
