  • A Joke

    Programs are ok but app nothing works. Just watching a program with 32 episodes but episode 29 is not available in my are. A joke. Just been watching a series with 23 episodes and there is no subtitles to episode 23. They should reimburse my money I paid.

  • Subscribed but no access

    2024 JUL 5 UPDATE: Reinstalled app after its recent update to fix bugs. Current subscription still doesn’t work. Subscribing again didn’t work. I get an Apple error message >> Error [519: 1000 ]
    Receipt Apple Error ((EVAS)). A few weeks ago, I tried the developer’s info on submitting the problem again. Again, no follow up yet. Plan payment history stops at August 2023 despite continued subscription until the recent woes. If I try to add a plan again, Apple tells me I’ve already renewed my subscription. Would really like continue subscribing for the content.

    ORIGINAL REVIEW: Regrettably, a 1-star review. Long-time user, no problems until recently. Excellent chat support. No follow-up. The issue? Subscription payment was taken, but access to shows & movies remain locked. App acts as if we need to choose a payment plan. iPad & app both updated recently, so not sure what the cause is. We’ve cancelled our subscription until the issue is resolved. This is otherwise a good app if you like Korean shows and movies. We’ll update or delete this review when things are working again and will re-subscribe at that time.

  • The Best for Korean Drama & TV

    I have used most Asian content streaming applications in the iOS store. I have been watching Korean drama for many years. I love it. I chose it over everything else I’ve been exposed to. I don’t know what makes me lean so hard toward Korean Drama but I do.

    I find the very best place to enjoy a steady stream of Korean drama series, as well as TV, is Kocowa. They broadcast not only drama but reality shows, variety shows, music concerts, etc. The only complaint I have is that you can not adjust aspect ratio. For specific devices I enjoy that option. Thank you for your hard work.

    It’s alright but is so irritating to find the free options which i dont think there are many. There are other sites that could provide more in my opinion

  • Apple TV failed to login

    Apart from app frequently asking to re-login, Apple TV by far the worst. After subscribe and download the Kocowa+ app to apple TV, it refuses to log me in at all. Stuck at loading page 🙄👎🏻

    I’ll give it a go with the mobile app. If it doesn’t improve, i might cancel within a few days. Won’t wait for 14 days free trial to end. Heaps more other platform to watch K-drama here in Australia. 🤷🏻‍♂️

  • App is horrendous

    Since getting the membership, it is advertised for 9.99 AUD Per month but was charged 14.99!!! False advertisement! Since then the app has been so glitchy and always says error and asks me to sign in once again (probably every two days or so). This is despite updating to latest version…..

    Now it says error - default/ 2.0_staging….

  • Worse 14 day trail

    Can’t watch anything during the 14 day trail, just browse their catalogue.
    They also charge in USD not in AUD.

    The app needs more subtitles languages. I had to cancel my subscription.

  • Stuck on ads much?

    I am a huge fan of Asian Dramas and prefer them over American TV and movies. I use Kocowa, Viki, and Asian Crush, so it can get costly with paid subscriptions. This is why I tolerate ads when viewing dramas. However, having to constantly close the app and start a drama again because the ad pauses and will not play is a bit much. I tried not skipping through the ads to see if that corrects the problem but it doesn’t. I can’t discern whether this is a passive aggressive way of trying to get a subscription or just a bug in the app. Reinstalling the app and clearing out the cache does not work. At any rate, if we are allowed to have access to dramas with ads, please let us do so without the punishment.
    Thank you for providing an opportunity for a person on the other side of the world to view Asian content and experience new cultures.
