This is a nice little app, but there isn't much difference to filming it on your phone's camera. You can adjust the lighting and add a filter with more ease, and add your name and project to a slate at the opening. You can also send the tape to any email address which is very handy because I always have trouble getting mine over; having to use OneDrive and Dropbox which take ages to upload.
I reckon it'd be great if there was an option to record audio for another character's dialogue. I often find myself unable to find anyone to film with on short notice and when there's a script between 2 or more characters, it's always awkward when there's just you. It'd also be nice to have the option to edit separate clips together for one long running tape because a lot of the time, actors are asked to do more than one scene for a selftape. In this situation, I just downloaded the clips and put them together myself in iMovie, but it'd be nice if the app adopted this option.
