Well, that didn’t work.
I have been a client of US Cellular for about a year. In that time my spam calls have increased to the frequency of about 2 a day. Not horrible, yet still annoying. This last week they increased to about 1 every 2 hours, at all hours of the day and night. This is when I decided to download this app. Within an hour of downloading the call frequency went up to approx one every 15 minutes. This app does nothing, and I’m 100% sure they put my number out there so their app would seem useful. Today US Cellular lost a customer.

I agree with the above review. Exactly what happens to my I- phone every day for six months, and I pay call Guardian to block them. They block very few. My husband has same I-phone I have and does not get any. Does anyone have suggestions on how to stop receiving these. Thanks
Doesn’t work
I was getting 20-30 spam calls EVERY day Monday - Saturday. US Cellular recommended this app. After several months of having the app I am getting 20-30 spam calls every day Monday- Saturday. In the months I’ve had this I have gotten 3-4 notifications that it actually blocked calls. Not worth having. Don’t waste your energy time.

This App Needs Fixing 100%
I’ve been using this app for about 2 years and NOTHING & I mean NOTHING. Shows for how the app works. None of the three filters selected works, i get about 20 spam calls a day and I’ll report/block all the time and then that’ll only keep the same number from contacting me. It should automatically be blocking spam numbers, why should I take the time from my precious day to do the apps job?! -0/10 recommend. If I could give this app a 0 star I promise I would.

SPAM PROMOTER NOT BLOCKER
I would recommend this app to no one! Went from hardly any spam calls to dozens a day when I activated this service. Once I uninstalled it my spam calls dropped in number but it’s still a dozen a day or so. The other lines on my plan get very few if any spam calls. What a waste of time and energy trying to use this app. It’s the same three or four spammers calling every time. I can tell because I send the spam calls to voicemail and can see it’s the same messages being left over and over again. I’m disappointed enough that I am strongly considering switching carriers after 20 plus years with US Cellular. If Guardian and US Cellular sold my number then at least give me a kickback to pay for my time in dealing with all this spam. Blocking numbers through the app is also clunky and very inefficient.

Spam/telemarketers
Call guardian DOES NOT work, for the past year I’ve been getting the same calls 15-30 per day, pretty much the same thing every time, new updated plans for Medicare, so finally activated call guardian thinking these calls would stop, nope not even a single one…
Inconsistent
Four times out of five, the app cannot add a new spam number to its database from my submission. I would love this function to be basically one click but it’s several (share contact, really? You couldn’t implement it any other way?) and then for it not to work most of the time is discouraging.
Won’t work at all!!
I can’t even do initial set up. I’ve tried everything, and just get error message. I’ve called US Cellular, and Apple support and still no go. I’ve restarted, reinstalled, gone into settings etc. Nothing works. I think it’s just a big scam to make you think you’re getting all this crap for paying outrageous prices.

Completely useless
iOS call ID works better than this app. If you try to search a number is says unable to search. If you do get it to search and tell it to block the caller it says unable to block. You call uscellular to get assistance with the app they can’t help you as it’s a 3rd party app.

Useless, unless updates are made.
Through my U.S. Cellular plan, I am supposed to be able to access the premium plan on Call Guardian for free. But I have repeatedly tried to access it and it continually sends me verification codes to verify my number and then gives me a pop-up that says “Unable to complete action: your account is not authorized to complete this purchase. Please call 611 for assistance and try again” with an “OK” button, while in the background there is a screen that is blue and says “All Done, Congrats! Call Guardian Premium is included with your rate plan and has now been activated in your device”. Once I hit “OK” to the pop-up, it brings me immediately back to the phone number verification screen. I have had Call Guardian installed for a few months now and was excited for such software to exist to put a stop to the literal NON-STOP calls I get from spammers, spoofers, and robo-calls on a daily freaking basis. I have to literally tell people who I want to call me that if I don’t answer, to please, PLEASE, PLEASE leave a voicemail, because otherwise I will just assume their number is spam/spoofed.
