Disgusting “app” that renders expensive lights useless. Contacted HEISE and they couldn’t care less. What a disgrace; HEISE should be ashamed. Wonder why they aren’t?

So I bought this 2015 ford f150 with these lights, couldn’t figure out how to get them to turn on, went offroading a few times without them. Buddies of mine tried getting them to work but couldn’t. My roommate and I managed to figure out it was an app. But I couldn’t get the app to work, but he managed to get them to work on android. I’m unpleased with the products usability and will be taking them off of my truck and finding a different pair to use. Your product it trash.

HEISE RGB 4 Pack
Installed a pack of rock lights on my 2018 JLUR the same year I bought it. I don’t think the app, as listed in numerous other reviews, deserves the full credit of the quality of the LED and its aluminum housing and nice pre-wired harness setup for AUX lights. Especially as with the new JLUR with said option from the factory. Aside from Jeeps, as otherwise stated many times, the app is garbage and I hold HEISE responsible for using a third party Chinese developer to showcase the companies well thought-out rock light LEDS. Sad But True…and also lame. Again the LEDs and pods themselves aren’t bad. I can’t speak for any hardware that shipped as I mounted them with mechanics wire and zip ties. Also can’t speak for any other HEISE products. But these have lasted and the app works for me when I either double click the color I want or the mode I want. I also do my best to make sure it’s linked directly via BT and there are no other points of contact. I would worry about linking more than one pack of four. Other than that the last update on this app was 3 years ago as of posted. Also lame. Dump and revamp this please HEISE. I’ll gladly pay and extra $10 per product or maybe a bit more for dedicated and maintained app support. Thank you for reading if you made it this far.

This app is crap I can’t sink mine or my wife’s phone to the app to control it takes me longer to get it connected then to drive where I want to drive. Not worth the money

Seriously, HEISE...You need to get of your tail, and get your app working correctly for Apple users. I’ve called numerous times, directly to your CS addressing the issues. You stated that you’re all aware of the problem and have STILL DONE NOTHING ABOUT IT! Get to work on this please. People contemplating having HEISE products installed...DO NOT! Until this company shows interest in RESOLVING their problems, spend your money elsewhere. This is a valid WARNING.

Crap app
App constantly crashes and rarely works. Worst thing ever.
Bluetooth connection is horrible
Bluetooth connectivity is not reliable. Recently it won’t connect at all and their reasoning was the new iPhone Update. They haven’t updated this app in 2 years and now my brand new lights haven’t work in over a month 😤😡
Trash Product
App you use is trash, worked total of 24 hours after installation. Store where lights were installed at won’t cover replacement or even contact the manufacturer to get replacements because they know aswell as I do “ No response will be given “.
