Just wish there was a paid version.

I like having this app as a daily habit, but I really wish there was an option for a paid version so I could avoid having to watch ads for all the routine activities.

Good :)

I’ve used this app before and as someone who loves and is interested in Shinto but cannot afford an actual altar/shrine right now, this is great and accessible.

Lovely way to practice Shinto

This is a beautiful app that allows you to have a private and somewhat customizable Shinto practice from anywhere you are.

That said, the little fortune cookie feature is broken, and the daily quotes are a little odd (mostly trite out of context sayings by Western figures rather than translations of Shinto, Buddhist, or Eastern philosophy).

Perfection

I’ve been using this app for about a month now and it’s one of the best apps I’ve ever had. It makes the way of Shinto so simple, yet so profound in its simplicity. It’s exactly what I needed as an introduction to Shinto, and I hope I won’t ever have to be without it.

I love the inari fox in the back office most of all. Every day when I check in, he’s doing something different. Usually he’s sleeping, but once he was sitting on the tori gate gazing at the moon, and it was so pure and sweet!

Thank you so much to the creators of this app. I’m truly grateful to you.

Cute App - It makes daily gratitude fun!

This app is well designed with several nice Kamidana options. I like the daily quote, lucky day information, and daily fortune. Thank you!

Good App

Currently learning about Shinto and came across this app. I think it’s great if you don’t have room for a Kamidana or are looking to start your practice without using a physical Kamidana. I use this to start my day with gratitude. I think the little bells and digital charms are good motivation to do this each morning.

The Perfect Positive Habit Help!

This app is great for anyone that loves anime, Japanese culture, or is interested in Shinto. It's a nice way to easily journal the positives of each day and release the negative. It's a great way to explore Shinto without fear of making mistakes or having to buy into the sacred items in real life before you know if it's right for you. My only critique is that the translated phrases need a little polishing! I'd also love to see more information about the different Kamidana types in the app. Any extra guidance on Shinto practice in general would be greatly appreciated!

Amazing!

I love this app so much. I follow Inari OKami Sama and I just love being able to thank Them, and honour Them and connect to Them. This is my favourite app, and I am so incredibly grateful to you for making it. It’s wonderful that no matter where I am or how tired I can still pray. Thank you 💕
Would 100% recommend to anyone

Simplistic with intrusive and inappropriate Ads

A few basic and yet somehow confusing controls and settings. Random full screen pop up ads after exchanging offerings or fortunes/“whitty remarks” <- (can we get a better phrase like “quote of the day”?). I thought Shinto was about cleansing the spirit and honoring the Kami, not a shameless money grab. No instructions or education piece of the app to talk about Shintoism. No connection with specific orgs or shrine types for issuing a type of digital ofuda or any type of real connection to the Kami.

The straw the broke the camel’s back for me was a banner ad for a christian association on my app. I can’t even pay to have the app completely ad free so I won’t be proselytized to by other religions! This is totally inappropriate and unacceptable. I’ve been using this app every day for years in spite of its simple interface and issues, but allowing adverts for other religions has killed this for me.

Cute Kamidana app.

Need a little shrine or just want to make a wish? This app helps me think of small house shrines when I don’t have space or money to set one up. Plus, the “back of office” mascot is cute!
