Bad app, but the fire is terrible!
The app is pretty clunky, but the biggest issue is the control interface to the fire. We couldn’t work out why our app wasn’t doing anything to our fire, it turns out we were connected to our neighbour’s fire!! There is no security at all on the connection, if the fire is not paired with something, then anything can pair with it (eg your neighbour...). And if the fire loses power, or is switched off with the main switch on it, it loses pairing, so then anyone passing can pair with, and control the fire.
Evonic really needs to up their game, it’s 2019 and this system doesn’t even meet the basic requirements of IT security, in fact there really is no security. Beyond that, there needs to be a way to allow multiple apps to pair with the fire at once, and basic usability improvements on the app.

Disappointing
Paid a lot for fire, engineer now been out twice and not in any hurry, plenty of calls to Evonic . Only connects one device, it’s 2019, fire also turns the heating on itself?. Frustrating!!

When I finally got mine and my wife’s iPhone to connect it works perfectly. Found that you can only connect one phone at a time. Annoying when we’re both in the house at the same time and you don’t know which phone has connected. So I thought I’d use an old iPad2 permanently. 2 hours and still it won’t connect to the fire. Highly frustrating.
