Buggy, but works
The first issue that I ran into is that none of the images match up with the small icons on the bottom of the app’s screen. The image displayed at the top is what gets sent to the spinner, but you have to tap through quite a few of the icons to actually find the one you want to upload to the spinner.
The text can be difficult for some people to read due to the static LED colors; maybe the manufacturer should consider dynamic LEDs for a future version to aid with readability and to expand the image color palette. A built-in image editor would greatly expand the versatility of this as well.
The spinner itself feels pretty solid. There’s some noticeable wobble while it’s spinning, which also makes the displayed image/text a bit unstable. In addition, there’s a magnet under the bottom button, which the spinner uses to locate the starting point and also to stabilize the image as the revolutions change. It also means that the buttons aren’t reversible, nor can you replace them with other buttons.
All in all, it’s a moderately-priced novelty, good for some short-term amusement. Definitely not a “must have” gadget though.

Hi, nice gadget/app... Please add option that it can display number of rotations per minute on fidget leds
Cool spinner but missing features
This spinner [separate purchase from Aiture, there is no spinner animation in this app] and app could be so much better with some minor tweaks. Why isn't there a way to pick "random" under the "light" and "emoji" panels, like there is under "text"? Why is there no battery indicator? I'd really love to see a "quick cycle" option where the device changes the light/emoji patterns every user-selected interval (like every 5, 10, 15, 30 seconds).
