Would be 5-star with QOL improvements
This app is very convenient, but it fails to deliver a painless, seamless experience. Whenever I added new items to the menu, it would “update” my cart and remove the previous pizza I ordered. I ended up being unable to order more than one pizza, and had to switch to salad. It only went through when I added the pizza last. Moreover, changing the pickup time at the end removed half of my cart as those items were “no longer available” (except it allowed me to reorder every single one).
It also wouldn’t allow me to apply any of my points or rewards, stating they didn’t apply to my order… including the welcome reward, which isn’t a very welcoming experience! These difficulties aren’t found on other food-ordering apps I use regularly, so I had to score this lower than I wanted. Comparatively, other food apps are easier and more generous than this one. Which is a bummer! I love MOD!
That said, with a few updates, I would happily re-evaluate my review!

Love MOD, HATE this app
Almost every time I go to use this app it has a problem, usually saying that my saved payment, orders, login info, or other information is invalid and making me re-enter it manually, or change my password again only for it to not recognize the new one, and almost always when I’m in a really big hurry and trying to pick it up on the way somewhere or I don’t have the card with me. The app is fine when it works but I literally don’t order anymore if I don’t have at least several minutes. I literally just spent over 30 minutes trying to log into my account, make another account, and then still have to just order as a guest and deal with the rewards points later, which is the only reason I use the app. I don’t normally complain about apps but this one is just awful.

Not a Safe and Secure App
I was at mod pizza last week with a few girl friends and we ordered pizza from the app while in the store (to get the free cake of course). Anyways, about 10 minutes after we got our food we each received multiple called from a man. He knew we were at mod pizza. He knew the managers name and demanded to speak with him (from our phones). He then trolled us with ridiculous information and accusations about the restaurant and our food. I will spare it because it’d like to believe it was all false. He ultimately was trying to spam us into giving him our financial information. Anyways, the only way he got our names/phones numbers and knew we were at this location was through the Mod Pizza app. This is concerning because it feels like a breech of privacy. This comment is to encourage more safety and security within the app. I will not be using the app again.
