Focus function

Hi
The App is in the main intuitive to use, although it would be helpful to explain what the focus values -0.8 to 0.20 allow you to do. Infinity focus looks to be the default with this app.

Blurry photos

My foreground elements that are maybe 6 meters away are coming out blurry and I can’t figure out how to use the focus feature because there seems to be zero documentation on it. Please help!
Update: The developer responded to this review asking if I used the focus feature. Yes of course I used it. That’s what I said. I just don’t understand how to use it. What do the numbers mean? It would be helpful if the developer had a way to contact them other than through the app reviews….

Small number mean near, Big number mean far. 0.0 mean standard focus point for stars, but it changes depending on the temperature. Which shooting mode did you use? ----- > My foreground elements that are maybe 6 meters away are coming out blurry and I can’t figure out how to use the focus feature because there seems to be zero documentation on it. Please help! There is a focus button on the bottom left. Did you use it?

What a waste of a 5

There was no clarity to the night sky. This app is a bogus thief!

Shutter Button?

There is no shutter button visible on the app on my iPad! Can you advise? The rest of the buttons function properly. Thanks

If so, try to restart your iPhone.

Impressive!!! ✨🌙 ✨💫 ✨🌗✨💫 ✨🌕✨💫

I absolutely LOVE PHOTOGRAPHY! I am not a professional but I am good at it from what people have said about my pictures I have taken just by using iPhones. I currently have a iPhone 11 Pro Max and I have taken pictures of the night sky as well as the moon and never could get the quality pictures of the moon like I wanted! Stars I could get ok pictures but definitely not as good as I can with these apps! I must say this app REALLY DOES IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF PICTURES OF THE BEAUTIFUL STARRY NIGHT SKIES AS WELL AS THE MOON!!! I purchased them BOTH THE ONE FOR STARRY NIGHT SKIES AND THE ONE FOR THE MOON AND THEY ARE TRULY IMPRESSIVE ESPECIALLY THE MOON BECAUSE I COULD NEVER GET GREAT MOON PICTURES WHERE I CAN ACTUALLY SEE THE CRATERS YES THE CRATERS ON THE MOON! They are absolutely both great! The amount of money spent was worth it!
Thank you so much to the creator or creators of these apps GREAT JOB!! BRAVO! 👏 KEEP IT UP! I LOVE THE BEAUTY OF THE NIGHT SKIES AND THANKS TO YOU I WAS ABLE TO CAPTURE THE MOON TONIGHT WHICH IS BEAUTIFUL! Too bad I didn’t know about these apps sooner with all of the beautiful interesting astronomical events especially with the moon that have taken place in 2020! Oh well hopefully there more beautiful heavenly night sky events that happen this year!

Cool little app.

You do need as little light pollution as possible with this app but even the free version can produce great results from a clear sky. Pro version is a lot more versatile and well worth a fiver.

Awesome!

Works exactly as you’d hope. Note, volume buttons do indeed work to start capture now. Nice app, $5 well spent!

Unexpectedly good.

I accidentally purchased this while searching for an aurora app so had zero expectations. As a ‘let’s see what happens’ joke I tried photographing a very dull aurora on a flight from Calgary to White Horse by holding the phone against the window and blocking out ambient light with a neck pillow, on a six second exposure. Insane as that sounds, to our utter amazement and delight we ended up with a semi decent (albeit grainy) photo clearly showing a bright green aurora.

Might be great...

I just wish you could use the volume buttons around start the timer countdown so I can use a Bluetooth remote for taking starry sky pictures.
