Great app, without this recent problem
This is an amazing app for anything simple you’d like to do that places like school and work block, but something I’ve noticed has changed in a recent update. It disconnects from WiFi wayyy easier than it used to, and won’t connect again until I restart my device or reinstall the app, which is not okay when my school’s internet blocks app installation, so if that could be fixed so maintaining connection and reconnecting is easier and more reliable I’d definitely give this a five star review.Show lesskmandarin
*Hidden IP*
This app is one of the best VPNs I’ve used.
Taking my time with this one because it seems like all I see are ‘kids’ saying they can use blocked site now. That’s just a tip.
-For simple use: Without subscription; You can get into blocked sites from high school WiFi’s to public WiFi’s that have sites blocked.
-‘More Advanced use’(must have subscription): Your IP is hidden. Select a region for server. I’m in US, I recommend not using a server from your own region.
Once activated, you are hidden.
To check for yourself. Very easy. I’m on iPhone. Go to Settings> WiFi> Click the ‘i’ with the blue circle.
Now to go a more popular IP Address locator site. Go to site without VPN, it should have info on where you are. Turn on VPN, go back to page site and reload. It will pop up as ‘_____’ for the server you chose to use.Show lessRomy Poo
Five stars for being very good at hiding my location!
I would give it five stars but when I had it last year it was totally free but now you have to pay for premium features. I have been using vpn’s for 6 years now and the vpn I was using two days ago showed my actual address when I googled What’s my IP address. When I typed What’s my IP address after downloading this it actually worked and hid my location and showed the connection I was connected to.
If I’m wrong about saying this was free last year because I have the wrong app name let me know and I’ll change this to five stars.Show lessShane Lauer
Great app
Especially for students who get very bad reception at school and are forced to use school WIFI, X-VPN unblocks all websites that were previously unavailable for students and just common people who use restrictive networks. X-VPN also speeds up your network and changes your IP address so no hacker can track your location. I personally love this app and even without paying for premium(which I think is a great feature) I believe it’s worth installingShow lessHms_49972
Honest review! Simply your best option!
To start off, let me just say WOW! This app gives you a wide variety of places to connect to, some even overseas! It also gives you tons of protocols to let you choose the strength of the encryption, and the WiFi speed. It has a awesome clean interface and with a tap of a button you are using a free vpn! It is also UNLIMITED! You can use it 24/7 without any issues, just leave it on in your background and forget about it absolutely free! I have tried many other vpns, but they require you to jump through tons of hoops and you have to pay them a fortune for the yearly subscriptions. NOT X-VPN! X-VPN gives you a awesome easy to read privacy policy that makes it clear they won’t take your data, and it remains solely yours! Almost every other free vpn out there takes your data. Not X-VPN! New update Ruined it
I have had this app for a while. It was great. My school blocks things like Snapchat, instagram, the App Store, pretty much any social media if you are on their WiFi. Its not a very slow Network, it’s not the best but it’s not something that would get in the way of connections to any of X-VPN’s servers, at least not before the update. Before the update there was no problem connecting to the free USA server or “The fastest Server” but since the new update, you need to have a fast network and an outstanding connection to connect to any free server. My house has amazing WiFi and that’s the only place I can really connect to the servers. I don’t know what changed since the update summary didn’t say anything about this problem, but please change it back.Show lessQuin M.

This app is amazing! I’m 11 years old with an iPod and needed a way to contact my parents at school. I ran across this app on Instagram and was like omg I need this! I knew the password to the staff WiFi so I typed it in without the app running and it didn’t work, I ran the app and sure enough it worked! I do 3 after school projects during each season. 1. Cross country 2. Gymnastics for the middle of summer and all of winter 3. Baseball (not softball). This app is so useful I love it!Show lessAbby The Cucumber✌🏼
